I am Rebecca and I am one heck of a passionate vocal coach/singer/songwriter/impressionist/health/fitness/self- improvement/anything that makes me smile!! I love anything vocal/singing related and geek out on it every day. I want to motivate and inspire others to follow their dreams…corny? Well maybe but it’s true. So what’s motivating me?? I had a huge tumour removed summer 2017 and my ovaries and fallopian tubes. The tumour was the size of a 20 week baby!! However, despite not being able to walk for a couple of weeks, and feeling generally awful…. It has made me create and do what I love! It wasn’t an easy time but I won’t let fear dictate my life. I didn’t think ‘why me’, there are plenty of horrific issues people have to deal with…it’s not always smooth sailing. It’s true when you hear, ‘Life is short’, the crazy thing is, I am glad it happened…I appreciate life even more and practice gratitude everyday…It’s so easy to get caught up with the little things…and I do sometimes, but look at the bigger picture, will it matter in a year or two…?

It seems like when they sing at the same time ZAYN sings a bit lighter and Zhavia sings more darker and it balanced the song nicely

I can appreciate how they have tried to modernise the song and push a vocal that’s more appropriate for the charts now but I really do miss the unbridled joy that comes through in ‘Disney-fied’ versions.
Disney chose vocalists from different world regions to sing the Disneyfied version for promotional purposes. It will be released within 24 hours. You can binge, and decide which version you like most. 😊
I want to watch Lea Salonga and Lin Manuel Miranda sing A Whole New World again after reading this comment. Unbridled joy in action right there.

they did a disney-fied version with the actual actors from the live action and I have to say that one sounds very close to the original song

I just love that she is appreciating Zhavia and My idol Zayn's magical voice and ability because I have seen other SO CALLED VOCAL COACHES not liking the way Zayn and Zhavia sing this song.
Zhavia competed on the tv show The Four. She was really quite good...unfairly got booted in my opinion. She had a bad cold people! But seems like she’s doing well now ❤️ so pretty too!

I totally agree!! I can't make out the words they're singing. People are getting lost in the magic of a Disney track. The fact this vocal coach doesn't even pick up on any of this is embarrassing.

I love the animated aladdin and I dont like the live action version of it now, but it would've been better if zayn took the roll as aladdin. Coz he really has the spitting image of aladdin and he also can really sing.
But Zayn isn’t a Actor you can’t just focus on looks when someone wants to do a live action. The Actor who plays Alladin is pretty good und yes he can’t sing but the Original singer is singing for him🤷♀️
Yes he's a singer, but it doesn't mean that zayn can't act. You do know that when it comes to making a music video you have to act or portray a certain theme or scenario, right? So, what I mean is that it would've been nice if zayn portrayed aladdin coz aside from he can sing, he has the looks also, and that is only "if". Coz, I know zayn still needs work on his acting part. You get what I mean? Its just a comment don't be hard on yourself hahaha 😂😂😂

I love that Zayn was chosen for this version, this was really perfect for him. I would’ve liked to see someone else paired with him though, no hate to Zhavia. Sia and Zayn worked well together in the past, and I felt like it would’ve been a more seamless blend. I felt it was a bit choppy personally, their voices are just so different that I had a hard time getting into it. I’m glad they have this more modern version though! It’ll sound amazing in the end credits.

Having a hard time with her throat problems back in her The Four days, she was subjected to a lot of arguments about her singing style and voice range...
