Up 20% this month in sales... Pushing $7,000 this month with an EVERYTHING Store. I stay with about 700-800 items in my store and average 7.6 sales per day.
I had an incredible October, the best month of reselling since I started a little over a year ago, November has been kind of slow with low price items….then when we went out of town for Thanksgiving, sales took off still with mostly low price items, still thankful for every sale

I haven't been able to stay on top of listing items due to my health. I did put items that was listed over 100 days at a 5% off. I have been selling about 10 items a week. I am very happy and grateful for all the sale.

I agree with you on not having the rock bottom price. there is a sweet spot in my opinion. i have gotten question on low low prices before...like does this work? what's wrong with it. so that taught me quick no more rock bottom prices. and the questions slowed down considerably.
Love watching your videos. The viewer that said they're wholesome was 100% accurate. I just rec'd my order from MYGO2 and I love the new 2.7 mil. I purposefully didn't want to say the key words, leaving room other winners. My Q4 has its ups and downs, and that's okay (for me). I retired back in May 2023, I get to spend my leisure time shopping/sourcing, and it's just fun money. God is good! 🙏 I will say, I lowered the promoted rate on all "sell similar" listings (to 3.9%) and sales picked up.

Great video as always! As far as sales go on Mercari, terrible! Ever since they charged the buyer a percentage, sales suck! I get lots of views but that's about it. Ebay is much better but last week I think I went 2 or 3 days and no sales and I was listing every day! Sometimes I wonder if they are making updates, etc and their platform/server is down during those times? All I know is I hope 2025 things turn around for the better! Also, I love James Taylor too! But right now, I'm stuck on Joel 😊lol

My business is way down because I havent been able to work it much since August. I've been taking care of my dad, who has now passed. Now I'm taking my dads place and taking care of my mom. Dad took very good care of her for 67 yrs. (Pump gas, vacuuming, the dishes after she cooked, car and yard stuff etc.) He never had any medical issues. Then in August he got diagnosed with 2 types of cancer (rare) and passed in 2 months. Mom is lost without him. 😢 Im trying to fill her time and his shoes. And take care of me and my house. Thank goodness i dont have a husband or kids too. Not much time left for work either. I'm getting my time sechedualed better between her house and mine so i can start working more again. Sorry TMI. 😊
I only have part of 2 to 3 days to work. So im picking items that sell for over $50 to list out of my money pile. I'm also looking into wholesellng items. I have a bunch of clothing inventory that I don't like to list. I'm looking at your platform dipdit commonwealth but i only work off my phone and i havent figured out how to do it yet. I don't think it works from an app.

Thank you to Joel from American Bubble Boy! My sales dipped terribly in October after we had 2 back to back hurricanes. Went down as far as 60%!! Since November sales are up...Now, they are UP over 160%!!! I really got consistent and also started running 40&50% off sales. I fully believe we make our money on the buy. I buy super low, like you and most of us. GOOD LUCK EVERYONE for the remainder of the year and beyond!!!
I have been doing this a long time and my sales are very close to last year. I use quick books to keep track of sales so I can pull any numbers I wish. Thats how I keep track of sales . Definitely a election year for me anyway. I have the most items listed I ever had. However I sold new things before and had multiples of every item. Stuck on You !

I had to laugh about your Hooter’s calendars. I purchased 260+ vintage playboy books for $160. I called my wife after I bought them. 😂 She allowed it. LOL. I have sold several already. Listing them was not much fun honestly. As for my sales, we are up 30% over last year. Sometimes it felt like it was slow, but I look at our numbers and I get encouraged because our overall net sales are up and our ASP is up over 50%. We are selling bigger value items which helping. I hope it keeps up and this is a great holiday selling season.

November is the best month I've had since May. I know I can do better once I get some things listed, though. January is usually a pretty good month for me, too.

I only started in late October some I’m pretty new! I’ve never had more than 35 things listed at a time and I have 8 sales in total. Today was the first time I’ve had to 2 things bought in one day. I’m pretty happy with my sales but I am also selling pretty cheap stuff (only pulling $1-$10 per item) so I think that factors into why my sales have been steady

. Locally sourcing was nonexistant this year unless you bought whole storage units. I FINALLY hit a good yard sale on November 30 that should have showed up at the end of June (it may have been above freezing, but may not). That's a good indicator for local resellers, many of whom have had to quit unless they can really travel to find stock. I stopped selling almost two years ago, Megillah omitted, but August sales were always all but stone dead and picked up in September and got busy in October. When October looked like August and November wasn't much better it was one of the last straws telling me to get out. I sold vintage jewelry, which SHOULD have gone off like a bottle rocket. Joel stuck on you. (I can always use packing tape.)

Q4 has been the worst for me of 2024. First year selling on EB and not thrilled with this last quarter. Have more items listed now and moved up to a store in October. Guess I need to find better stuff. 😊

The postal strike up here in Canada is 100% hurting my sales in Q4 but trying to adjust with different postal services. Unfortunately eBay still shows delayed shipping times for buyers probably forcing them not to buy. 🤷🏽♂️
I've been going up every single month this year. So far almost 10k since 10/1 over 1k this weekend since Thursday this is our best year yet
Joel has some good stuff for some good deals! Better quality and often cheaper than getting shipping supplies elsewhere.
Q4 is going okay for me. I know I've mentioned this before but I am a first grade teacher and supplement with sourcing and selling on ebay. Sales are better than last year for me. This is year 2 for me.

I keep a spreadsheet but this has made me want to make a chart so I can see how I do this versus last. My sales have been steady but I have also been listing daily. I know I would sell more if I put more hours into it.

I sell primarily vintage items in my EBay store. Etsy has been really good the last month since I reopened a store there. Ebay was dragging all summer and through October. Once November hit, sales started increasing and should be back to my norm to stay if I am guessing correctly and the economy shifts as I expect. I keep a loose goal list and try to list at least 15 a day on Ebay and cross list to Etsy if appropriate. I also try to end and sell similar 10 per day on Ebay. I am a solo reseller with my grandchildren taking photos only on occasion for some gift money, so this is usually the top of my production capabilities. Joel, stuck on you!

Due to a family health situation, we have really dropped the ball for Q4….yet, we are still selling!!! It’s been much better than expected!!
To start December my sales show an 81.6% increase last 31 days, but still feel slightly lower than last year.
I started reselling on Ebay in 1999, then stopped in 2006 when I went back to working at a fulltime job. Fast forward to 2024, I'm retired but the economy has taken it's toll on my finances, plus I have too much stuff, so I started reselling again on October 1st. My November is quite a bit better than October but I believe that is due to listing better stuff and pricing competitively. I'm hoping December is better than November but I have to make that happen.
