Fab Twin becomes interesting since v3, thanks for this presentation video, but one feature is missing (IMHO): wavetable support! Of course, thumb up and new subscriber!

Hi. New subscriber. I have seen a lot of reviewers who say they are disappointed with Twin3, but you chose a more neutral path. The presets don’t really grab me, but I do like the huge flexibility for modulation it offers. I think it will take some study to get the most from it.

Yes I guess if you compare Twin3 to other synths out there it’s not a match. It’s mostly a simple synth and lack many of the features you can find in modern soft synths these days. But it is what it is and it sounds great and I like the sound, ease of use and modulations.
I usually don’t like taking a firm stand against a plugin unless it’s really bad and in that case I might not do the video at all. I like to show people what the plugin does and how to use it and let people be their own judge. If you still have questions or would like to buy feel free to contact me. Link in the description is my very own plugins shop.

@@UDiAudioI freely admit that I was going to purchase the upgrade to Twin3 no matter what. I already own the FabFilter total bundle and at 45 USD it wasn’t a tough sell. True, it doesn’t really rise to the mega-capability level of Serum or Pigments, but I don’t think FabFilter is trying to go head-to-head with them. And I am not a hardcore synth guy. What I find most curious is that some speak about FabFilter (plugins in particular) as having a certain sound. What? The sound of fabulous filters? 🤔 I remember the days when folks used to argue about which DAW “sounded” best. Humans: we are shot through with bias and subjectivity. And the rare exceptions to this generality don’t tend to gravitate toward the creative arts.

@@j.stribling2565 I'm sure you are going to enjoy it. And most of all it's an easy to use synth with very cool modulation options. It's super fun to try out things and experiment.

I like three things of Twin 3:
      - The user interface: I can see what I am doing
      - Friendly for beginners like me because I am overwhelmed with the endless possibilities of other Synths like Zebra or Arturia's Pigments
      - I like the vintage sound
Further, I like the user interface of the FabFilter products and Twin 3 helps me to understand how a soft synth works, what the key objects are and how they can be linked together to create a sound.

the basic sound of the oscillators is very cold. no way to adjust the tempo on the standalone version. not a fan of this synth

It's just a fun tool I guess. I love the UI workflow and ease of use.
