After many years of playing this beautiful track, I have stumbled upon its sample in the most fortuitous way - Daphnis et Chloé, M.57 / Deuxième partie: Scène - Danse suppliante de Chloé by Maurice Ravel. Interesting interpretation! Although the track somewhat loses its magic after discovering its origin... the memories still live on :)
