Hey Serge - awesome and MOST important video. I like the voice isolation feature. I just recently learned that you could trim out the background noise, so super useful to know that you can do it in FCPX. Now I record 20-30 seconds of just background noise in every clip. Also, the audio crossfade is a must for multi-cam clips when changing angles. I only found that about 18 months ago after struggling with my angle changes popping in the audio. My multi-cam videos are much, much better now. All the very best, Cheers Rick
Can you explain that in more detail? I can select and edit the noise on my own, but this is then automatically applied to the entire clip. What exactly is the point of selecting the noise alone?
wow, so glad i found this video, your channel. These are amazing, clear cut, easy to duplicate steps. I was wondering if you had any tips of audio that becomes static, or distorted after downloading? I number of my videos sound good when in fcpx, but lose some audio factors (quite noticeable) after it's been downloaded.
Great Video Serge - have a quick question you might know how to fix - when i go to click on something in my media pool it puts the range bars on the clip and i have to manually stretch them out to get the whole of the clip so that i can put it on the timeline, can you think of any reason this might be happening - thanks in advance

Serge, you don’t need to go to the upper bar to do cross fading. Hit “T”, put the tool between 2 clips and hit option T. It’ll fade them quickly.
Later in the vid, he shows that
