I was just diagnosed 3 days ago with Ascending Aortic Aneurysm of 4.5 cm - I do have pain and fatigue, some sharp chest pains. I guess they'll assess, but I this is the most recent info I can find and also found a video of a Dr from Yale breaking this down maybe in a quicker vid...but I really want to be informed when I go to the Aortic Centre here as I have had to advocate for myself to even get this diagnosis found. Is 4.5 to be monitored, but how I feel...it feels scary...I guess I will wait to see how quickly they get to me. Slow up here in Canada...wish I was in Montreal, speaking of clinics that do many procedures...I think that's the place to be.

I had the same diagnose less than one year ago, 4,6 cm. Are You sure the pain and fatigue is related? They say it should be without symptoms, first symptom is usually when it burst... I have good BMI, low blood pressure, not smoking or boozing so for me its only monitoring, next chek 2 years from the first. Can agree, its scary, the risk for sudden death is elevated, but probably not huge, not yet. Fors sports, only have to avoid the most heavy lifting and similar, otherwise no restrictions or medication( well, little statin to keep the cholesterol at optimal level, but very small doze)
