I want to thank Francis and Giovanna Morgan for script editing, Andreas Kemper for Music (last song), „I love Vancouver Island“ (Facebook) and Victoriabuzz.com for sharing the first Video, Lon French for his beautiful art works (maple and raven logo).
Was feeling homesick, and found this video. Haven't seen such high quality footage of the island until now. Thanks!
Hi Jordan, such a nice comment, thank you very much. It is such a beautiful place on this Planet. And yes, the quality, it is amazing, what a small Cam (here Gopro 6) can do in 4k and 60 fps. I was so glad having my drone with me. There will be another Part, I think the last one in some weeks.
I live here and have seen these sights many times but you have captured it all so well. Great job and I look forward to your next videos.
I'm really glad you got to have such a wonderful experience seeing the whales. They come in to our harbour swimming right in front of my house a couple of times a year and it is a beautiful sight.
Yes I believe this, waht a beautiful sight.
Great vid. Should be a million hits by now. Thks
Wow, thank you so much
Thank you for doing a wonderful job capturing the beautiful island I live on!

Stunning videos.
Great video
Thank you
Thank you for sharing this. I got to see orcas in Seattle last year with my sister but this video is the next best thing to being there. You did a great job filming them and the scenery. ❤😊
Thank you so much ❤😊
Greetings from Ladysmith BC, Gunter. Love the vids, looking forward to the next one.🌸
Thank yo ver much, nice to hear - next one will come in a while - Gunter
...It's been a pleasure watching your first 2 video's - I'm in Otter Point along West Coast Road - it's great out here! Looking forward to your next video :-)
Hello Linda, thank you so much. Oh yes West Coast is so beautiful. Otter Point, just not far away from Sooke, saw it on Google maps. Sooke and Sandcutbeach in the next Video!
Great video, which month was this?
Thank you. This was June 2018
amazing videos thanks for sharing
Amazing footage here. Wow. I've been on 1 whale watching tour and it was unbelievable! We saw about 90 or so Orca's, A pod of them swam right underneath our boat, and we saw a family of humpbacks. I have content posted from that trip, unfortunately I did not have the set up then so my footage is not as amazing as yours here but still very beautiful so see.
Thank you very much - so you were also lucky to see that wonder. It was difficult to film the whale with the big cam and 500mm Zoom freehand, a gimbal would have been perfect. But anyway it was such a great experience.
thnaks it was wa woubndeful tripp with you
Thank you very much
wow super lucky
Very cool Gunter!! Funny too because I live part time near Victoria, I love paragliding, and I currently live in Köln :)
I can speak and read a little bit of Deutsche but not too much. I'm still learning your language but it's difficult for sure. I've been loving watching your 4k videos of flying! Is there any paragliding near Köln?
Ok, I understand. Sometimes we fly near Bonn or most of the time I am going to the Mosel, its 1:30 form my place away. If you are interested I could take you one time with me, some Pilots offer Tandemflight for money, I only fly alone.
Yes, that would be really fun to do sometime. I don't know my schedule the rest of the summer will allow it but we should stay in touch for sure.
Damn we shouldn't have let this man on our island. He will give away all our secrets.
Aha, that's why they ask me so many questions at Vancouver Airport ;-)
Hahahaha
I was going to say that on his first video of the series.
But since he did such a marvelous job, I'll give him a pass on this one.
Gunter, you need to come back in the winter for the storm watch.
To see the incredible raw power of the pacific in action is awe inspiring.
Thank you for your correction about forestry in BC.
I just recently retired after a long career in forestry.
Next year when you come back, and we have that promised drink together, I will tell you some of my whale stories and others about living on the coast for the last 60 years.
Hey Brian, so where is my pass? Haha, good, thank you very much. Your welcome for my correction. Oh I would like to return to the Island, but I don't know right now, if this could happen in the next future. But if, may be you have a hint for me to rent a ...oh how do you call it - caravan oder camper mobil - that would be the best way for me. So if I come back we will have a (or some) beer - best regards Gunter
We call them motor homes or RVs. I just tried googling 'Motor Home rentals Vancouver Island'. Found several places.
Please let me know, my email is kiphard@gmail.com - thank you
@@area28 I will keep that in my mind! Congratulations you just earned yourself a new subscriber! We will stay in touch...
That's nice, thank you very much.
It’s better to see them in the wild than in aquariums
For sure, it is amazing
What town was the Whale Watching in? Looks so stunning...
It's Ucluelet - thank you
Thank you so much for this hints! Yes, I think there is a lot more to discover and having enough time is a problem to me.
John 3:16
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
What camera was used for this?
Gopro 7 with Gimbal and Sony RX10 M3
What tour company did you use?
It was a company in Ucluelet, near the road next to the harbour - don't remember the name
We could see some humpbacks in wildlife and was amazing: th-cam.com/video/vNgx2CLwBYM/w-d-xo.html
