Agreed, John is slowing down a little but so what. He's still a fount of knowledge and experience and a charming character and one of the best in the world.
Thanks GT World for the great coverage again. I'm staying in a nearby hotel for the races tomorrow - can't wait to return to BH for the 3rd time. It's the most incredible place. OMG I love the sound of these cars live
Can someone answer this please: What's the reason behind Ferrari, Mclaren even Bmw building such quiet engines? I understand the mechanical reasons for the lack of noise, i just don't understand why eliminate the noise if u don't have to. Particularly Ferrari, if Porsche can make an engine rev to 9000rpm why can't Ferrari still do that? As long as it meets euro6 or 7 or whatever which the T.50 V12 does. I get it for everday cars being low rev turbo v6/8 but what's the philosophy behind the 488 or Sf90 being whisper quiet compared to gt3 or T50.
The best racing commenters in the booth in my opinion. Driver perspective all the way
John Watson is an absolute legend
100 percent
