    After years of asking Quilting TH-camr's to create this tutorial, i was thrilled to finally see your class this morning. Thank you for setting me up for success. Excellent procedure.

      You are so welcome! Working with super large cuts of fabric is not easy and if I find something that works for me, I love sharing it with others. Thank you for sharing your comments!! Happy Saturday!

    Thank you so much for not shortening or speeding up the video! This gives me a much clearer understanding of the process.

      You are welcome. Speeding up the video is a process I struggle with. There are times I need to balance the simple straight sewing with the length of the tutorial. This is when I speedup the video. I want to make sure you see the actual sewing, but watching me "slow sew" is horribly boring. This is always a struggle for me. I appreciate your comment so much!!

      @sewbatikfabric Seeing how many times you adjusted the fabric and explained why and what you were looking for is so helpful.

    When I was young all bed linen was ironed. we did the quarter fold and pressed the folds. Of course they were starched and line dried

      I'm that crazy person who still irons bed linen. I don't use starch, but probably should! Crazy!! Thank you so much for your comment I love it!!

    Do you have any tips for quilting with a Batik Backing?

    • @sewbatikfabric
      @sewbatikfabric  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Karen - I'm not a professional quilter. It would be best to ask a professional quilter who works on batiks and loves batiks. I quilt with an APQS longarm. I use a size 14 or 16 needle and Masterpiece thread from Superior Threads. My experiences are very different from others because I've never quilted with fabric other than batik. If you have specific questions give me a call or email - we can talk specifically about your questions.

    What is an A-frame ironing board? What are dimensions? Where would one purchase in Canada?

    • @sewbatikfabric
      @sewbatikfabric  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Great questions!! An A-Frame ironing board is in the shape of an "A" measuring approx 15" x 53". One short edge is narrower than the other and angles into an "A" shape. Big boards are rectangle and measure approx 19" x 58" and are wonderful for large projects.
      On our website (SewBatik.com) we offer the complete ironing board cover kit in the fabric of your choice. We ship world-wide.
