I'm cursed with committing dumb mistakes and still getting close enough to sub 4. I'll keep going. I'm feeling Tigrex or Glavenus next. Let me know what you guys think :D
Unfortunately it is lol. On the bright side it gives me 2 video opportunities for each monster. Before & after my goal of sub 4. Thanks daddy I appreciate it
Happy you had fun with Dauntless! MHW is great man. Take your time getting that gear and doing your own runs. We still have ways to go before Wilds is out so seriously take your time lol. Thanks for stopping by!
Marco welcome to Monster Hunter! First, enjoy the game. It can be complex but it's super fun. The community overall is great as well. Look up any guides if you get lost on builds and such. Rise is a lot faster paced than World is, but it's still a great game. In Rise, you can queue up immediately in multiplayer quests, which will help if you get stuck. I appreciate the kind words btw!
Legit this has been my rotation as well. I feel like there isn't enough saed cb runs on youtube so that's why I went back to it. Eventually I would like to do GS runs as well. Happy hunting and thanks for stopping by!
you're clean with your CB man, I decided to pick this weapon up and it falls short to my expectations. in the end as far as shield weapon concern. lance and SNS clicked more with me
What about CB falls short, in your opinion? Because I’m in a similar boat. I mained lance for all of world and most of iceborn, and only recently started trying out CB. Imo lance feels more defensive, like you block and parry and wait for the best moment to poke the monster, whereas CB feels more brute force with its shield, like you charge your shield and then guard point to ignore the monsters damage while keeping up the attack. Maybe it’s just my personal playstyle that makes CB hard to pick up lol
@@Exoquell & @erivaneverlast1612 thanks for the comments guys & nice words! I respect everyone's opinions on their weapon of choice. For me, something about that aggressive style while also being defensive with guard points just hits different. I usually mix up using GS or CB, but have tried others.
@@Exoquell it's kinda hard to put into words for me. and some aspects i didn't like about the weapon is quite probably contributed due to my lack of mastery over the weapon. but i guess if i can list it the reason: -i found the weapon is quite the committing one. it's rather hard to change direction on where you're attacking when the enemy is moving and it's rather taking a long time before you can dodge after an attack (i think i found this problem more on the axe mode since it has a rather long animation for each attack) - I didn't quite like having to charge meter especially the one that has to combo a certain attack for it to active (getting your shield buff and axe buff). I found this to be a nuisance especially towards a monster that have quite a tight down time in their attack where opportunity is scarce and you definitely wanted to deal your biggest attack. like fatalis head and AT velkhana with it's frequency of attack. i think that's what i can think on top of my head and the reason why outside of the 3 ranged weapon I chose insect glaive and long sword and lance as my main go to (i used SNS too but i sometimes find the range of attack is too short and perfect rush can be a bit stupid if the enemy move even just a bit, ending up me using SNS more as a support). insect glaive is super maneuverable, it's quick to cancel it's attack and go into a dodge roll and the airborne capability offers me a certain safe space towards some attack. Longswords is a bit tricky on the counter and iai spirit slash timing. sometimes when you counter an attack you can miss on several occasions due to being out of reach. also have a stupid amount of rest animation. but still good to dish considerable amount of damage and easy to maneuver out of attack with generous amount of I-frame. Lance is that one weapon that really rewards your quick reflex being that counter is very intuitive to deploy or use because the attack animation is mostly just a poking. even without reflex, the counter offers a lot of uptime if you screw the timing. and it's rather easy to maneuver with the ability to dash and the rush if enemy changed position unlike the gun lance counterpart. all and all, seeing this vid. it make me wanted to learn the slower moving weapon more and their merit.

If you're this close, using a different palico gadget might be enough to put you under time. The meowcano, for instance, does halfway decent damage :)
Very true! I left on plunderblade this whole time LMAO. I'll look into it & thank you for the suggestion!
4'00" seems to be your lucky time. You'll be under 4 in no time. I vote for Glavenus. Keep up the good work Ryu.

I loved doing speed hunts on Dauntless, then they removed single behemoth patrols. Now I do it on MHW, even if I haven’t gotten any good gear.

This is just my tutorial boss for the path to the Elden Ring ;)

Nice choice of music chef kiss 👌
Thank you! Showing the many Shin Godzilla fans some love.
I’ve been playing GS lately, time to go back to CB baby!

The music is really depressing at all, not enjoyable at all, I had to watch the video muted.
All good man. I don't expect everyone to love what I do or my choices in stuff. Have a good day!
