Just as Pulsar NS 200 came right after KTM Duke 200, Pulsar NS 400 should have come right after Duke 390! Even now it's ok that finally its here - Bajaj has always given affordable performance to Indian riders - this is going to be the VFM bike for a lot of people despite somewhat old design.
The only 1 thing I dislike in this bike is Handle Bar which is very simple & childish type design unlike NS200 which literally looks & feel very muscular..
I never complaint on indian company. I think practical. Practically its ns 200,160,125 body with dominar engine. If i buy this bike and ride it every one think i am riding a ns 125,160 or 200. Whats the use of paying huge amount for ns125.
Was expecting the 398cc from the trump 400, also seems like they didn’t pay the designers for the rear end, a hint of lightning in the rear end would have been a nice touch. If we remember Bajaj was making fun of TVs for riding modes in apache, now they have added it to their biggest pulsar! Samsung Apple thing going on with Bajaj!!!
Quick question, what happens to the Dominar now? Unpopular opinion may be, but Bajaj screwed up that brand themselves by going after Bullet. They made it unnecessarily heavy. Then there was the whole 'Haathi mat paalo' ad. On a lighter note, Haathi is worshipped in India and RE has almost the same status (not god per se, but a strong cult status). It was completely unnecessary and I don't think Dominar brand really recovered from that. Is it a bad bike? no, on the contrary I actually liked the Dominar. Sure its not perfect but they could have made it so much more than what they ended up doing. I think the NS400Z now will mostly fix what Bajaj messed with Dominar. I hope Bajaj retires the present gen Dominar and truly brings out something spectacular. Will the new 399cc makes its way into the next-gen Dominar? I have a strong feeling about it.
I believe the issue is bajaj tried the cheapest 400 7 years ago at 1.36L. back when duke was 2.5-2.8 ish. It's evident bajaj clearly hasn't learnt that just a larger engine in a cheaper format isn't aspirational enough to push consumers. Launching a 400 for the price of a 200 doesn't push existing 200users to it because it isn't much of an upgrade aside from the engine. And majority beginners won't be allowed to ride a 400 by their parents😂. But your hypothesis is good, maybe someday the dominar will return with a new engine and with a more premium appeal. Currently the bike isn't aspirational enough to justify the 400cc tag. A four hundred has to be the end of single cylinder motorcycling not the start. This should be reflected on the price too😂
@@mustafadudhwala7278 It is not just about cheap. I think Dominar was good value. But there was another issue. Pulsar had a very strong brand presence. I remember back in college when the initial batch of Pulsars 150/180s started rolling out, people wanted to be seen on a Pulsar. It had the masculine appeal, something that is sought after by the college youth. May be bajaj had to do the NS400Z then instead of Dominar. Even after so many years, Bajaj hasn't been able to establish Dominar as a premium brand, at least not as much as they expected. Pulsar on the other hand is still very popular.
I don't own the Dominar, but I test rode it a year ago and was absolutely blown away by the experience. That is a lovely bike and has a potent engine, but why is it so heavy? Anyway, I hope Bajaj launches something with twin cylinder setup. They had the potential to update Avenger line, but they are too busy with their Pulsars. They call themselves a sports motorcycle brand, but ironically they butchered their most sporty looking bike RS200😂
@@sameerkharade7750 the dominar intentionally had a more kerb weight because it wanted to compete with the classic. I don't know why bajaj thought of copying the weakness of the competitor and completely forgot to copy the strenghts 😂

I never complaint on indian company. I think practical. Practically its ns 200,160,125 body with dominar engine. If i buy this bike and ride it every one think i am riding a ns 125,160 or 200. Whats the use of paying huge amount for ns125.
Everything is fine, but what's leaking under the engine?
can u tell us why they haven't given it a radially mounted front brake caliper like the dominar ???
Why single piece handle bar? Why not clip on handle bars just like the NS 200?
With this aggressive pricing some sacrifices had to be made by Bajaj
@@idrisahmed2659 ex showroom price 1.82 ke badle 2 lakhs hi rakh dete clip ons ke saath. Par nahi, bajaj ke mann me to kuch aur hi chal raha tha
Kitna complain krte ho 💀 konsi tum bike lene hi wali the . Most of the viewers aise hi bike reviews dhekte hai kyuki paise toh hai nhi 💀💀
@@lynxXeum when you are a hardcore pulsar fanboy, every small detail matters irrespective of whether you make a purchase for the bike or not.
Kisi ne notice Kiya jab bike start ki aur silencer dikha rahe they toh kuch liquid leak ho raha tha 2:32 se aage dekho
Did it start leaking already?
That's water from the catalytic converter.
Does it look like a Honda?
Why is it outside then
Was expecting the 398cc from the trump 400, also seems like they didn’t pay the designers for the rear end, a hint of lightning in the rear end would have been a nice touch.
Dominar is one of the most value for money bikes ever made in this segment. What a beast and legacy . Pity for those who cannot understand what Dominar is
Light weight with 40 bhp. Sounds exciting.!
Now dominar has to bring his game.. dominar 650twin..
It will happen. When you will have twins 😂
Did you just say the same chassis as the 200??? Tf
So did KTM, how does it matter?
