I'm a 69 year old Stay who just discovered them late in 2023; they are remarkable - talented as writers, producers, dancers, and they are fairly unusual in KPop, since they write and produce much of their own songs. You asked people to tell you who our favorite members are. Well, there are a lot of Stays who joke about the OT8 (One True Eight). I'm inclined to agree, but I'm a fan of the band's leader, Christopher Bahng, whose stage name is Bang Chan. But they're all so incredibly good ... OT8 is a fine choice.

Stray Kids' leader Bang Chan has been friends with Ryan Reynolds since 2021 when Stray Kids performed a Deadpool-based performance on the Kingdom show (recommend to watch it too) and Stray Kids also made a soundtrack for the Wolverine and Deadpool movie called 'Slash" (and it's a really, really good song).

In JJAM (as in many of their songs) they used wordplay with similar-sounding words that have different meanings. JAM - as in jam out (dance / play hard) JAEM - Korean word for fun They ran with the wordplay and decided to use JAM, as in the sweet stuff you spread on toast, as their video concept. Plus, they added a little bit of a horror aspect to the M/V, which is in total synch with their slightly twisted sense of humor.
Fave member is our dark rapper/gym bro, Changbin 6:487:46 (I love them all though) Fave song is between "Chk Chk Boom" and "StrayKids". "Chk Chk Boom" is just 🔥 and "StrayKids" holds lots of sentimental value bcuz it's a trip down memory lane reminding us how far our boys have come🥹. There are lots of references to their older songs and mvs which you'll notice later once you've watched all of their mvs. Love your Straykids reactions! If you want to get to know them better, I highly recommend the long guide by chandora's world. It's incredibly detailed and entertaining. You can break it up into parts if you want to, but most Stays prefer you post the whole thing at once. We love seeing people discover our favorite boys, so we're willing to watch anything about them no matter how long it is 😉.

Just subbed! My favorite members are Bang Chan and Lee know 😊16:58 is a member named I.N! He’s the (Makane= youngest) member! When you said the English was good, all members can speak and understand to a certain extent of English (whether their fluent or not), and Bang Chan and Felix our from Australia so whenever you hear them talk English you can hear their accents. Stray kids song is about all the previous eras and their are some big like shout outs, i don’t know if that’s what you would call it? 😭 but it would be cool to see you recognize them through your stray kids journey. Oh boy you're gonna love them. If you like them this much already, you're only going to find more you love. They're AMAZING GUYS. My fav members are Han and Lee Know :D My top 3 from this album are: 1) JJAM 2) I like it 3) Runners Honorable mention to Stray Kids (the song). They released the teaser for this song a few days before we heard they all renewed their contract for another 7 years with the company. I cried so much that day.
@@FabledsNook IKR! 7 more years is so awesome! Kpop contracts usually last 7 years so it's always scary. They renewed 8 months before the expiration of their old contract. That's very early for kpop groups. Tbh it's like that with all their songs IMHO, there's a handful of songs I like less but it's only a handful and everything they put out these days is fire. In November they're releasing another Japanese album (kpop groups often sing in Japanese because it's a big market, they release seperate Japanese albums). And we're still expecting another album this year aswell, though not confirmed yet.

My ult bias is Han Jisung. I'm a multi stan & have a lot of biases but this man is number 1. He is an ACE. Singing, rapping, producing, dancing, stage presence, etc. He has it all. The main reason is his personality. I always say he's my male version. My second bias is Changbin. This guy's personality is amazing. Such a sweet human being with a strong mindset. This is the type of guy you would take & introduce to your parents.
Felix is top class artist. His vocal range and the variety in his voice is insane. Apart from singer he is fashion icon, and ambassador or world biggest brand Louis Vuitton, UNICEF ambassador❤

Stray kids has a japanese/anime track too like 4 openings of tower of god. I think stray kids is going to drop new japanese album "Giant" and i think that is going to be one piece new opening. And in "Giant" album there has 2 new openings of tower of god, "night" and "falling up" i hope you listen to it!! @FabledsNook yeah these boys never stop working, they put out multiple albums a year. ATE just came out in July and they'll be releasing their second full Japanese album November 13th. Definitely recommend her longer guide, the 2 hr one. Just remember when you watch it that the KOMCA numbers are from January this year. The ones I posted here are up to date so far.

RE: Chk Chk Boom Because of the appearance of Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds in the Chk Chk Boom music video, some people thought the song was in the Deadpool movie. Stray Kids have actually been friends with RR and HJ for a few years. But other than them appearing in the M/V, the song Chk Chk Boom is not related to the Deadpool movie at all. The song Stray Kids (actually, 3Racha - the three members who do the vast majority of the writing and production of the music for Stray Kids) DID write for the official Deadpool and Wolverine soundtrack is called SLASH. They wouldnt run away, but i hate horror movies and i was scared first few watches, especially at Seungmin hitting something on table with hammer with shoe laying next to it :D but i am do proud how smart and different those clips are, only Skz can make horror about jam :) favourite member - Changbin (rapper), for his rap, dark aura and his personality, Hyunjin who got me to SKZ by walking from car and waving to people, being so totally uncelebrity like so i had to know who he is, and Felix. More about Stray Kids (aka SKZ) in case you haven't read much about them, yet. ------------------------------------------ Leader Bang Chan flew from Australia to Korea when he was 13 yrs old and trained at JYP for several years. While waiting to debut, he formed a rap group called 3Racha w/ two other trainees, Changbin and Han. They wrote/produced their own music. From the beginning it’s always been Hyunjin for me, but I will leave it up to you to figure out why. I’m actually surprised I’m the only one so far in these comments that mentioned Hyunjin. In JJAM (as in many of their songs) they used wordplay with similar-sounding words that have different meanings.
JAM - as in jam out (dance / play hard)
JAEM - Korean word for fun
They ran with the wordplay and decided to use JAM, as in the sweet stuff you spread on toast, as their video concept.
Plus, they added a little bit of a horror aspect to the M/V, which is in total synch with their slightly twisted sense of humor.

Fave song is between "Chk Chk Boom" and "StrayKids". "Chk Chk Boom" is just 🔥 and "StrayKids" holds lots of sentimental value bcuz it's a trip down memory lane reminding us how far our boys have come🥹. There are lots of references to their older songs and mvs which you'll notice later once you've watched all of their mvs.
Love your Straykids reactions! If you want to get to know them better, I highly recommend the long guide by chandora's world. It's incredibly detailed and entertaining. You can break it up into parts if you want to, but most Stays prefer you post the whole thing at once. When you said the English was good, all members can speak and understand to a certain extent of English (whether their fluent or not), and Bang Chan and Felix our from Australia so whenever you hear them talk English you can hear their accents. @@FabledsNook IKR! 7 more years is so awesome! Kpop contracts usually last 7 years so it's always scary. They renewed 8 months before the expiration of their old contract. That's very early for kpop groups.
Tbh it's like that with all their songs IMHO, there's a handful of songs I like less but it's only a handful and everything they put out these days is fire.
In November they're releasing another Japanese album (kpop groups often sing in Japanese because it's a big market, they release seperate Japanese albums). And we're still expecting another album this year aswell, though not confirmed yet.

My ult bias is Han Jisung. I'm a multi stan & have a lot of biases but this man is number 1. He is an ACE. Singing, rapping, producing, dancing, stage presence, etc. He has it all. The main reason is his personality. I always say he's my male version.
My second bias is Changbin. This guy's personality is amazing. Such a sweet human being with a strong mindset. This is the type of guy you would take & introduce to your parents.

@FabledsNook yeah these boys never stop working, they put out multiple albums a year. ATE just came out in July and they'll be releasing their second full Japanese album November 13th.
Definitely recommend her longer guide, the 2 hr one. Just remember when you watch it that the KOMCA numbers are from January this year. The ones I posted here are up to date so far.

Because of the appearance of Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds in the Chk Chk Boom music video, some people thought the song was in the Deadpool movie.
Stray Kids have actually been friends with RR and HJ for a few years. But other than them appearing in the M/V, the song Chk Chk Boom is not related to the Deadpool movie at all.
The song Stray Kids (actually, 3Racha - the three members who do the vast majority of the writing and production of the music for Stray Kids) DID write for the official Deadpool and Wolverine soundtrack is called SLASH. It's exclusively on the movie soundtrack and not part of Stray Kids' newest album, ATE.

Leader Bang Chan flew from Australia to Korea when he was 13 yrs old and trained at JYP for several years. While waiting to debut, he formed a rap group called 3Racha w/ two other trainees, Changbin and Han. They wrote/produced their own music. JYP gave Bang Chan the unusual opportunity to help develop his own group (which they did through a reality show, but Bang Chan had WAY more influence in picking his members than pretty much any other idol trainee had ever had before). When SKZ was formed, 3Racha was absorbed into that group.
3Racha still writes for themselves/performs on occasion. Several of their songs/videos are on TH-cam. They write/produce (and often compose/arrange) the vast majority of the music for Stray Kids. Over time the other members have also gotten involved in writing/production.
