This was one of the best plant/room styling video I have ever watched. I personally am extremely bad at styling and the room décor from my point of view.
Naawww thanks for the feedback! Again! ☺👊 Glad you found the video helpful. Styling and décor can definitely be tricky, but it’s all about finding what works for you and your space. Honestly, we’re all still learning. I definitely have so much more to.. uhh... "update" in my house! 😆-sometimes the best plant setups come from just trying things out and seeing what feels right. You’ve got this! I know you do 😉🌿 let me know how it goes!
Such great tips. I like keeping pots looking similar too. Glass vessels are a favorite but I like matte white or matte black too. White pots are used in areas that are light and bright. Black pots are used in my more moody spaces. Mostly I want the pots (or vases) to blend so that the plant can be the star of the show. I love the tip about having negative space too.
Yes! I’m totally with you on that. I love how the pots just blend in and let the plants shine. I stick to my white pots in the bright spaces, but I love how you use black pots in your ‘moody spots.’ 😂 I mean, I don’t even know what moody spots are in my house, but I’m here for it! 🙌 And yes to negative space-it really helps make everything feel open and not overcrowded.. if you can do it! (im not the best tbh! 😂 Always love hearing what you’re up to with your space! 💚
This is a very helpful video. I recently read a book on garden styling and many tips that you mention here were there too. It makes perfect sense and works really well. I had the idea that it would look great if I matched dark and silver plants together and always fail due to space constraints :-D
Aww thank you! And I feel you! 😂 It’s like the space problem is a constant battle when you're a proud member of the ‘too many plants’ club 😉 But I LOVE your idea of dark and silver plants together! Just beautiful. If space is an issue (as it always is), maybe try stacking some on shelves or or small stands? or books?! Or I love using curtain rods and hanging them (just not too many on one! 😬) You’ll make it work, no doubt. Keep experimenting and you’ll find the perfect spot! 💚 And THANK you for your chat! I LOV a good planty chat 😉💚
Ahh, I totally get that! 😊Honestly im still changing things around every now and then! t really depends on how I’m feeling that day. Some days everything’s in place, and other days, my plants are just happily wherever I feel like putting them. 😅 So glad this video helped connect the dots for you (It certainly always helps to hear things a few times for me!) 🌿✨ But hey, as long as it feels good, that’s what matters! Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts-love hearing from you! 💚
Thank you so much! 😊 I'm so glad you enjoyed the video! If you ever have any questions or want to share your own plant styling tips, feel free to drop a comment-I always love chatting plants! 🌿💚
Great topic! I somehow do this naturally… it doesn’t have to be only plants, it can also be 2 plants and something else 🪴🪴 I did the same thing you recommend with the decorative pots, most of them are the same color but with different textures. Here and there theres a different color for contrast, but only a few. Our living room does look styled, however it didn’t magically become that way all at once. When the basic colors that you want are there and the furniture that needs to be there is there… slowly adding things and slowly finding new things to add will eventually make it look just right 😊
Hahaha, OMG I’m right there with you! 😂 If you figure out how to stop at 43, let me know?-I’m still trying to figure it out myself! 😅 But hey, keep going and let me know how that corner turns out!😅💚😉
Haha, I see how it is! 😂 Once you start styling with one plant, it’s like the plants start multiplying, right? 😅 And lets be honest im definitely NOT going to stop you buying more plants 😉 Keep me posted on what you end up adding to your collection! 💚
I have 28 windows but with very little lighting due to tall fences, large trees, and closeup neighbors. I might have spent more money on glow lights than plants to lighten my indoors.
28 windows?! 😱 woah that’s impressive... but I totally hear you on the low light struggle-my place is pretty dark too with all the trees blocking the windows. but yes for me, grow lights are a total lifesaver. honestly I wish I could afford more! (but my electricity bill is a bit steep right now!😬). I'm right there with you tho-just keep shining those lights, and your plants will be loving it! 🌿💡

Thanks for this❣️ Somehow I „knew“ all these things, but I never got them together. Awesome!

Odd numbers? Give me a second while I add a 43rd plant to that corner 😁

Nice. So now I have to go out and buy two more plants to sit around my large snake plant..the first one I've brought in😂side. ❤
