    Hey guys. Norma and I just watched this episode together, and your shout-out to us put big, big smiles on our faces. Very unexpected! Thanks a million from New Brunswick, Canada. Don't forget to fly that flag on 01 July. Cheers!

    We’re planning to head there tomorrow after the rain clears out.

    Nice to see the water back to its normal color after stopping the LK O discharges. I noticed the water in St Lucie county, south of us is looking much better too.Can’t wait to get back over that way sometime this year and this time with our boat!😀

      Yes major difference once they slowed the flow from Lake O.

    Love the videos. This is totally helping me as our house will be near Pine Island. And your Boat choice is making me reconsider what we will buy as our permanent boat. Our house is behind schedule, but it’s almost done and I’ll be in town next week to view the progress.

      There is no such thing as a permanent boat 😆 . I remember saying that about my first boat in 1993. A 19’ Bayliner cuddy. 😂 5 boats ago.

      Thanks. It’s the main reason we do videos - to share the locations and help others enjoy them. Otherwise we’re just 2 bozos. Lol

    Retiree Island! Love it! Have you noticed any alligators in the saltier water? They are getting more common here in Texas beaches at Galveston, Freeport and Jamaica Beach.

    Hoping you take some more trips on the Meridian soon! I'm close to getting a 341 - just waiting for the right one in my budget.

    I've never chanced it on the lagoon side, with my sterndrive. I usually go on the opposite side just to be sure. Maybe I'll try it one quiet day!

      The approach is the shallowest. Once inside, it deepens.

    Love it. Do you guys find yourselves using the Meridian less and less since you moved to Fl and bought the Regal? Up here in the northeast it makes total sense, but down there with all the bars and shallow passes, I would imagine the Regal just makes everything easier and more enjoyable.

      For day trips and quick weekends, we go with the regal to get close to beaches, but we use the meridian for sunset cruises with lots of friends and longer trips. Most of our charters also want the meridian even though we go slow.

      Wind was ridiculous that day even with my Bluetooth mic. Hence the small craft advisory.

    Nice, but the biggest problem with Florida is the people to island ratio.
    You can't find a place without neighbors.

    • @AdventuresofHappyOurs
      @AdventuresofHappyOurs  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      There are plenty of islands in SW florida, especially around Pine Island, problems are depth on approach and many don’t have beaches. Just mangroves.
