Tera - DFHM Lancer (Velik's Fate)

This is a guild DFHM run I was in just recently, experienced some random lags at times. Things got a little interesting at 1st boss but I tried my best. As a tank, expect things to be a bit tough when trying to tank the 1st boss. I say this because if your party has low dps and not handle prima well, then it's troubling for a tank lol. You either have the will to handle it or get frustrated.
Anyway I've known or read about a lot of people complaining about how hard this dungeon is in this patch. I think a lot of people got used to how easy it was in previous patch because how nerfed it was.
It's not really that hard. This version of DFHM I'd say is about the same as it was when it first came out few patches ago. Only difference is that they buffed the endurance in this dungeon and enrage timers are not permanent, making it more difficult to clear quickly. If you have a slow dps party, then expect a very long run. I'd say that the gear requirement is recommended at least Misery/Ambush or higher. And they made this dungeon the highest tier for this patch lol, what a joke.

was looking forward to running the nightmare version soon as Valkyrie, but I still dont have misery +12, so I'm still using Guile. You think that it'll still work?

Guile is still doable but may make the clear time longer. Depends on the party though but as valkyrie I think Guile is still good. I think I was in a dfhm with whole party in guile/imperator and some in ambush during 1st week of this patch, and that run took 2-3 hours. Part of the issue was server lag but most of it was because low dps :) but it is still doable.

Feazes Hero Yeah, I ran it once now. It took quite long -_- And the lag made me die multiple times.

How do you chain your skills?

Sorry for late reply. Skill chains I do manually and I know them through experience and practice. There are certain skills of lancer that are able to be chained. Like spring attack is able to be chained from shield barrage, debilitate, shield bash or shield counter. While there are default chains setup in the chain skills menu and uses spacebar, it's recommended to not use that. Instead it's better to learn which skills chain after each other through practice. It may take some time but well worth once learn them.
