This is my eclipse activity today! My children are at school, so I plan on enjoying a quiet twilight around me(I'm in Louisiana, no totality viewing, just partial here) with my kitty cats and Sherpa videos. Thank y'all for being you and filling our mind, body, & soul with your energy 💖
Love the 'bubble moment' and the dance. I have rheuma-arthritis so pain is real for me and this is why I paint. It's therapeutic for me. Loved the tutorials.
I'm watching the replay and just wanted to say the eclipse was amazing. I had made a box (like in grade school) and watched through it. Totality was breathtaking I was lucky enough to go out in the back yard and watch. Love this painting, thanks for another great lesson!

AWWWW rats i missed out BUT HEY I SAW THE ECLIPSE IT WAS AWESOME Cinnamon can you do a painting of the eclipse over a bean field cause thats were i was when it came through my area I was in the middle of the totality path and the thing has been haunting me ever since. my brain is always be bombarded by all these creative ideas for paintings and projects centering on an eclipse go figure lol

Can I use a "Brilliant Red" as a substitute for Naphthol red medium and Vermillion for Cadmium Red Light? I seem to have only one shade of "red" and the rest are pinker or more orange. I don't know much about paint colors, but they look the closest from what I have. Thank you and the painting looks great. Can't wait to start!

Sad to hear yr sad my Mom has been gone for 6 years and i miss her more with every passing year but hey there's nothing I can do about the Universe being fickle and taking back who ever it pleases and I am grateful that I didn't fall into a depression or anything like that. I decided years and years ago not to get worked up, stressed out, mad or depressed over things I cannot change cause that will drain your spirit faster than anything. I know every once in a while I feel a little sad over Mom so I do things we used to do together and I perk right up. Lol but I did have a moment of upset knowing my parents weren't gonna be around to share the thrill of the Total Eclipse as the path of totality passed right over our home place oh well it's that fickle Universe again timing is everything I guess haha take care Mona hugs to ya

hello.. very pretty! I've been acrylic painting for only a few weeks.. and i have a question, Sometimes when i paint with acrylics, i paint over a certain area and all i can say is it sorta forms a hole in the acrylic paint layers and i can't paint over it until i let the painting dry for hours.Am i not letting the paint layers dry enough?or is it another problem? (PS: I think you'd be the best person to ask but unsure) - Thanks

victoria mathews if you enjoy it then ignore them, I paint for my grandchildren and they love them even when I sit and pick apart things. Most time I think the people poking fun are just jealous that they don't have the guts to try. So just keep painting, and if they want to make fun, sprinkle them with a few million stars, lol it will make you feel better

And also i got surgery and i was in some pain so ur vids made me feel way better evem if i couldent paint yet
