One of my favorite weapons. I enjoy high recoil guns, because once you learn to "tame" them, they are so effective. And the bullet saturation makes up for the recoil/spread.
Indeed, plus when you're bipoded up you end up being pretty accurate anyway - sure, the negative spread of BF1 LMGs is a thing, but when you have a 700RPM rate of fire on a low weight variant, you quickly reach minimum spread!
Despite their many differences, this and the lMG 08/18 are both equally terrifying to encounter. They both look scary, they both sound scary, they both equally can get on their victims nerves. Although I do agree with a lot of people about how the suppressive variant isn't really useful, I still use it and also have the most service stars with it. Yes the recoil is even more apparent with that scope slapped on there, but I learned to deal with it pretty quickly, at longer ranges you're going to want to fire in bursts. In CQC there really is no reason to bother aiming down the sights with both variants, if you're close enough it almost feels like a trench variant. The Parabellum suppressive was also the first variant of the gun I unlocked, the challenge for it was a lot easier so I went with it first. Plus, I've always been a fan of telescopic and suppressive MG variants. The lesser accuracy with the Parabellum isn't always a problem too, you'll be pinning down a lot of people with it. And thanks to the suppression thingy, it will be a lot harder for your target to shoot back thanks to them losing their guns accuracy and control (depending on what gun, otherwise the screen is only gonna shake around like you're drunk). This thing is a force to be reckoned with, you don't want to underestimate the Parabellum.
Same thoughts here. Suppressive sucks but I don’t have the low weight yet. Even tho I had bad internet (bc of rain) and was playing poorly, I was still able to get a whole service star and more with the suppressive in 2 and a half matches
Yeah, the Parabellum really pulls no punches. Can get very bouncy at longer ranges with its horizontal recoil I find, even on the bipod - still perfectly capable of laying down the pain!
That's fair enough. Is there something in particular about the Parabellum that you're not keen on? I know there are times when the horizontal recoil ticks me off something fierce!
@@Foddeur its the spread and recoil. I was a Medic main for the most part so I liked having the accuracy. I played all classes equally i guess but Medic was old reliable.
best support weapon by far. once you get how to control recoil it's a killing machine

3:45 it's a lmg that you can use like an smg up close and its damage is great at pretty much every distance

Honestly one of my least favorite guns to use for Support. I leaned more to the Madsen, BAR, and Hout.

I believe it's one of the Distinguished skins, I want to say it's the Degtereva one but I've not got access to BF1 at the moment!
