Because of traffic and the low speed limit, I had to drive relatively slowly, but the Koni Special Active dampers took the edge off of the otherwise rough experience, it was still obvious that the road is far from perfect, but it was not uncomfortable inside and the car was planted on the road at all times.
@originalKONI
what type of springs are used? :)
Stock springs, did not want to lower the car in a country where I can find roads like this.
@@AnneCaitlyn i am thinking about getting Special Actives for my Audi A3 Quattro (2010) here in Sweden, roads are pretty good in summer but pretty harsh in winter with packed snow and ice so I guess this type of shock absorbers would help 😁
@@steifan I think Koni made the Special Actives a bit stiffer than the previous version, the Koni FSD, but they are still more refined and composed over sharp bumps than the stock dampers. The sharp jolts are still audible, but they are not painful inside as before, the car feels a bit more premium now.
@@AnneCaitlyn great, thanks for the info. 👍
@@steifan I uploaded another video where I drive the car a little harder on an abandoned helipad: th-cam.com/video/LuOMIOE3Slk/w-d-xo.html
