Today I show you what the mysterious Area 15 Las Vegas is all about. We got a hang out in the Emporium (now the Asylum Bar + Arcade), tried some sweets, and we got to check out Illuminarium Las Vegas.

The universal HHN attraction is going to be part of a HUGE expansion to Area 15. If you had taken a walk completely behind the building (along Rancho) you would see the giant empty plot of land where they are currently just doing land grading. They are more than doubling the footprint of the entire campus.

Definitely! Omega Mart has mixed reviews. Mostly due to the price but I'd love to check it out for myself soon.

Definitely gonna check out illuminarium, a interactive planetarium. Really awesome content Dani.
It's a cool place to chill out in the AC. I'd recommend looking for any sort of discount/coupon. I believe they had local and military on the site.

Not gonna lie, a huge reason I did area 15 that day was because I knew they would have the AC blasting. hahah. That was a bonus for Illuminarium too, it was so nice to relax in the 2nd room.
Thank you for posting this so we could see what we missed. We purchased four Unlimited Experience Passes well in advance of our trip. We screenshot and downloaded the QR code to our Google Wallet. However, when we got to the Illuminarium, they said we needed to email the posted address on the counter with the original email address we used to purchase the passes as verification because they are a separate entity from Area15. Unfortunately, these were purchased on a work phone that was not with us on our vacation and we couldn't access the email. Even the Area15 account verification of purchase wasn't sufficient. So we were denied access. We were pissed, but it gave us more time in Omega Mart!
Omega Mart is definitely one of the most unique stores on the Las Vegas strip. Overall Area 15 is a unique, fun place to visit.
I really want to check it out soon.
Great video!! I will be in Vegas towards the end of June for the VMWare Explorer tech conference which will be held at the Venetian and I am super excited! LOL Like a big kid. I have never been to Vegas so your video have been a lot of fun to watch and very informative. I don't know how to play any of the card games so I think I will be that tourist sitting at the slot machine LOL

I am staying at treasure island resport and as far as a casino with slots and coin pushers do you have any suggestions on what would be a good casino to post up? LOL I love coin pushers and play them when I take my sons to the arcade but this time I'd to play the one for us grown folks

Usually don’t venture far from the slots when I’m in Vegas, but maybe, just maybe. If you’re into different sensory experiences, looks like it could be good to carve out part of a trip for it. And the lights and colors could sub for being in a casino-less the cash losses. Thanks Dani and Eddie.
HAHA. Well be warn, it can get pricey for the separate experiences. I did see a bundle price though.

Check out the bundle pricing if you do multiple attractions. They can get a little pricey.

I'm didnt catch pizza at area 15. I saw a restaurant that might have it on the menu though. We both work around the 4th so I'm not sure if we will be doing anything. Have a great Sunday!

Man talk about a sensory overload, so much to see at area 15, you need a week to see and do everything, great video Dani, nice to see Eddie join you.

I havent done to much there. Just what I showed by as far as hanging out in the arcade and going into Illuminarium. I really want to try Omega Mart and the Distillery Tour though.

I could be wrong but i thin Illuminarium is where the Van Gogh experience was. Same concept...you felt like you were inside his paintings!! That wasca cool attraction, THIS looks evenore wicked!! Thanx for making me wanna go back to Area 15. (Like i need a reason!)
And yeah you and eddie absolutely have to do Omega Mart. Go in with the idea that its just a grocery store....and then youll get blown away. 😅😅
The van Gogh is at the city center but your right in it's a similar concept. Ive been wanting to check out omega mart since we moved back. I might send them a message to make sure I can film but I really want to go.

I'm pretty sure you can (seen other bloggers do it!!) but yeah be sure and check. I love how much Area15 is growing/changing. Can wait to get back to it.
I went to Area 15 last year and we were kinda disappointed. A bunch of stuff was closed and so was some of Omega mart. But it seems so much better now!!! I’ll be there in 2 weeks and maybe we’ll have to give it another shot :)
I noticed there was a few changes from the last time I walked through there. Different food options and maybe a bit less experience. I'm super interested in omega mart though.
@@Dani702 I feel like if everything were open in Omega mary it would have been awesome. The slides were closed and so was one of the portals but hopefully now we can get the full experience!
What have you heard in terms of mixed reviews? As a rum drinker, I considered this fairly “Must Do” for my next trip.
Mostly on price but that's almost all of Vegas.

How do you get the locals discount online?
Dani you are going so good and why because watching your TH-cam channel makes me want to explore Las Vegas on my own and one day if I make my own hotel you are going to be shocked and why because I want to call this hotel the fountain hotel with a big giant fountain on the outside of the hotel it will be a big tall tower and when night time is around you will see water falling down I also want to make a hotel dedicated to sugar rush in the movie wreck it Ralph and I want to make a backwards hotel and name it mirrors but the name will be written backwards that will be all of my own ideas especially when the Fontainebleau hotel is almost done and we have another hotel called the dream hotel and one more called the majestic hotel but this hotel is not going to have a casino inside so yeah those first three hotels fountain hotel, sugar rush hotel, and the mirrors hotel are all my idea I will try and make these hotel feel so excited on the inside as well as on the outside

I was not impressed with Area 15 at all. It was forgettable from start to finish…
Only thing that I found marginally cool was bar in the middle. I guess I am not easily entertained as some, rather spend that money playing cards at the tables when I am in Vegas.
It's a very different experience. Not for everyone. I really think you have to be into immersive exhits to enjoy area 15 or if you have under 21 members when your group.

Clip Joint. Everything is a charge. Pay a small fortune for each attraction that is really lackluster. I would skip this place.
I agree that the price is a bit much for the exhibits. I think they have a bundle price which is probably your best bet if you want to do multiple attractions. I think it's a good family-friendly spot or great for someone who enjoys immersive exhibits. I enjoyed my time at Illuminarium BUT, I did get a discount for being a local.
