I have a huge exam coming up and this helped me so much, my maths teacher is terrible she makes it sound so complicated and I didn’t understand it at all
I watched a shit ton of videos but this one is actually a video I can understand and not some gibberish. I'm preparing for a major exam so this really helped. Thank you so much
Krenzy I mean I fucked up slightly didn't read that it was an estimate on one question in the non calc. paper so I tried to work it out manually.... The rest went OK I think
Reading the comments, I see a few people getting confused on the last question where we "+1" so allow me to elaborate. The reason the last part is "-2n+1", and not "-2n-1". The "+1" , allow me to explain: -1, -3, -5, -7, -9 We evaluate our sequence and observe how it's moving. The sequence is moving in the negative times 2 pattern so: -2, -4, -6, -8, -10 Now lets write them both together, -1, -3, -5, -7, -9
I am in grade 7. I am going for the InIMC (India International Mathematics Competition) in 5 days. On the test deciding which 8 students are going, the first question had something about quadratic sequences. I didn't know what they were at the time, and got it wrong. I thought it was impossible, after watching this, I realise how UNBELIEVABLY EASY it was. Thank you so much for this amazing tutorial, you earned a subscriber. I genuinely love you for helping me so much. ❤❤❤
my teach taught this to me in year 9. i was top set, and pretty lazy, so my attention span those lessons was... lackiing. Ever since, its been coming up in tests. end of topics, end of years, and i've just been crawling along, no sense of direction with the method. Of the many tutorials that i've found, this one clicked. Thanks!!!
Thank you so much for the explanation, my teacher explained it terribly and I have a test tomorrow. If i hadn't found your video, i would be absolutely stuffed. You are an absolute genius!
ive been struggling witn this for so log case everyone tells me different and complicated ways to do it but im glad i found this video cause it helped me SO MUCH
thanks man never understood this before cos my teacher taught us a different method but this method is just soooo much more easy and clear. thanks alot
Choosing values so a = 1 makes this confusing, especially when you write n^2 instead of 1xn². In the next example, where b is -4, it's confusing that you skip over writing the constant -4 diff between all the terms. It's said quickly in speech, but not written down.
Thank you so so much this helped me A LOT I was trying to solve a question it took my like 15 min thinking and searching but nothing help as much as this,, applude 🙏🏿
i have an maths test tomorrow i just learn i have it tomorrow as its my first day back since i had covid so i couldn’t cath up the topic the video really helped me to understand it in 5 mins thanks
Such a great video and purely logical unlike the other formula method. Can you do a me kind of video for cubic sequences? or someone reading the comments, share me a link if you know one... 😀
Thank you so much for this video it was so helpful! but I’m confused as to how you got the +1 at the end for question 3? Why did you add 1 to the minus 2 times table?
thank you man my paper is tomorrow from this one video my hope is that i can get good percentage and i had watched one video before watching this video and i cant understand it thank

Why do you take half of the second difference?
