The megaphone in the original Bohemian Rhapsody was used strictly as a visual cue to people who weren't familiar with Pentatonix, so they would be able to tell who was doing the guitar sounds. It wasn't used at all in the studio recording, which is what you heard in that video - Pentatonix was "lip synching" to the original studio recording. "Lip synching" is in quotes because, like almost every a cappella group who is making a video using their studio recording for the audio, Pentatonix actually sings the song as they perform for the video, so that their mouths, tongues, breaths, etc. will match up to the way they did it when they made the original recording.
You will love Popspring 2016- it’s amazing, as well as Joyful Joyful (only the live version from The Evergreen Experience- Mitch 🤯🔥💜) and an early original Love Again.
The word you're looking for is "megaphone," and Mitch wasn't actually *using* it in the official video. It wasn't turned on and didn't contain anything that could change the sound. Mitch just saw it lying around on the set and thought it would make a cool prop, and it's been confusing people ever since.
Also, it's easy to think that the sound you're hearing in the official video was actually being recorded at the same time as the video - #Pentatonix goes to great lengths to make it seem that way (like the sound of their footsteps at the beginning of the official video). But the truth is that it would be impossible to record the song *that* well on location. In official videos Pentatonix is lip-synching to the studio recording. That doesn't mean they don't really sing - they do, so all their movements are correct - but their singing is in perfect time with the studio recording and that's what you hear when you watch the video.
You should react to some originals. Try popspring 2016. It's a live concert with a few originals and some Micheal jackson . I think you will enjoy it.
@@lindarichardson5101 thank you❤️

Recommend their live 4 song set from Popspring 2016. There are 3 originals plus the Evolution of Michael Jackson. High quality video.
