This is so wacky and crazy, I love the song snippets and the factoring lol, i really want one now lol, he’s genuinely my new favourite, I also feel like he was made in 2005-2007, because the sound effects he uses are a bit recent
I wouldn’t be too surprised if those sounds both at 0:14 and 4:16 were readily available stuff, same with the music. Hopefully the originals of all that stuff can be located! I also do wonder about a test mode, there was no test pad on the board so if there is one it’s a button combo, I haven’t messed with him much yet however.
@Kristopher Walker I personally have never repaired or seen a Mexican Furdy in person so it’s hard to say what could be wrong with it, but check for bad connections anywhere, broken solder joints, corroded traces, etc. This seller has sold a different Oogle before, in also rather bad condition. It had a pink stomach, white fur, and an identical faceplate with blue eyes and white eyelids. As far as I know mine and that other one are the only ones they’ve sold.

This guy does look like any old furby fake but with how different the programming and build is, it’s probably better to wait for definitive proof rather than a seller’s word. I’ve sent videos of this guy in states of disrepair in the furby wiki’s discord server, and I have 2 videos linked in a community post of this guy when I originally got him.

Since there is another Oogle that’s been sold, I don’t think it’s a proto or anything. It did have a blob chip, nothing with any text besides labels from my memory
@@thepurpleendereye I once found an image of the internals of a Purby which appeared to show that, but only the edge of it was visible, so no telling whether or not it was a microcontroller.
But yeah, returning to the original topic which won't leave my mind for a while... Do you have any images of the board with that tilt switch? Also, this entire fact would imply that some of those parts were probably smashed in the factory by accident, leading to possible contamination of all furbs of this type... D:
