PRAISE THE LORD 'JESUS CHRIST" May someone write the names of BOOKS and MENTORS who were mentioned at the closure of this session. We highly need these INSIGHTS here in TANZANIA, because in Africa we hardly had a true CHRIST centred gospel
D A Carson mentions "20 or 30 really major inner canonical trajectories, and another 60 or 70 minor ones" that track through the Bible. Do you know of a book or reference that detail these? Thanks!
He's the editor of the NIV Zondervan Study Bible (please note that's not the NIV Study Bible) and the focus is biblical theology. I don't think it is detailed to the point of having a list with the major and minor intercanonical themes, but it has a huge emphasis on the devolpment of the Bible.
Begin at the Beginning, The Eternal Word who created the complete Cosmos says, to the religious rulers of Israel who claim they are Moses disciples, He said you search the scriptures for in them you think you have eternal life, and their words do witness to Me, but the scriptures do contain the words of the Devil and demons, and men and women who have been born into the kingdom of the Devil who coexist in the Kingdom of the Son of Man during this present era, to say nothing of the mass idolatry practiced in this world, and even among Israel God's predestined people, and we Christians only accurately know what these evil people preached , because it is written in the scriptures, but in contrast to them, the One who is eternal Life and Light, said, I AM THE WAY AND THEV TRUTH AND THE LIIFE, NO ONE COMES TO THE FATHER BUT THROUGH ME, but Christendom has like the teachers of the Torah, the scriptures, and the Talmud, their scriptures based on the writings of their theologians, have eradicated the eternal words of the Eternal Word, who said there times Heaven and earth will pass away but My words will never pass away, and warned everyone of the eternal consequences or adding to His eternal words or deleting , or even failing to comply with them completely
