No natural resources were damaged during filming (i.e. the TÝR carving at the beginning is VFX). Special thanks to the Hungarian National Parks department and the Szent István-cave for their support.
"In early January, immediately after spending our holidays in the Faroes, Gunnar and I traveled to Hungary to our bandmates, Tadeusz and Attila, in Budapest. Finally it was time to shoot another video, our first since 2014, and we’re very happy to present this one to you! The Hungarian film production crew, Mihaszna Film, arranged the trips, starting from Budapest and going first to the Julian alps in Slovenia. In the fields and rivers of the snowy mountains we had some amazing scenery for “overworld" part of the video. A few days later we traveled on to the caves of Szent-István in northern Hungary, and deep underground we found some dark and gloomy caves to be the perfect backdrop for the underworld part of this video. Terji wrote Sunset Shore, for our upcoming album, Hel - to be released on March 8th, and he plays the solo on the album version, but not in this video. We decided it was the perfect opportunity to introduce you all to the amazing talent of Attila Vörös, who recorded his own version of the solo a few days before the video shooting. The lyrics, written by me, Heri, are about how the mind can sometimes be a windswept and weatherworn landscape, and how the only thing to do, in spite of hopelessness and despair, is to aim for a better place and to work towards better times. KILLER track. You guys are the best Pagan Metal Band on Earth IMHO. Attila is a great addition. One of the few that I could imagine picking up the Axe and swinging it properly as it were. :)

Heri is out of this world. Had never heard them until I was lucky enough to see them open for eluveitie. One of the most impressive live performances I've ever seen.
Listened to this song at least 3 time a day for the last 2 weeks (because it is so awesome!) and still get chills when Heri sings, "Now the shore is burning into the sky in the NIIIIIGHT"

After 20 years with the band the guitarist up and left. This is TYR with a new musician filling that spot. Hope they can maintain their integrity in sound. I am sure they will continue to kick ass and I will see them when they come through Portland to show my support.

@@AVALARMusicOfficial oh the original was really great. He's incredibly technical and sounds beautiful. I just didn't feel the passion in this song from him the same as the one in the video. I think it was really cool they let him write his own solo so it could be more his style.

I first heard tyr Close to two years ago when I asked someone that is very dear to me that I lost years before when we rekindled our friendship what her thoughts were in regards to the time that has passed between her and I the first song that I ever heard by this band was the lay of our love which she dedicated to me I played that song for 3 1/2 hours on repeat crying my eyes out one of the most amazingly beautiful songs I have ever heard I have since listened to just shy of every song that I have been able to find by this band and absolutely every single song they have written has touched my heart in someway or another I hope that one day I will be able to see them in concert my hope even more is that one day I will be able to be there with my most cherished friend this song when I first heard it I listen to for over an hour on repeat and the only things that came to mind is sailing into the shores of Valhalla knowing that one day I would again find the one that I love you guys are absolutely amazing with what you do hands-down the best metal band that I have ever listened to and barring financial hardship one way or another I will get the box set of every single album
