- Steve was still in town, so we went for some dim sum. I haven't set foot in this place since the renovation years ago!

my channel follows life. tung is not someone who I cast and put in the channel, tung is someone who is my friend for decades, and we often have meals together, for decades, as such when I started my youtube channel, tung just ends up in the video

Wow. 28 Pell Street. Been eating there since the 1970s when it was Tong Gung or Crystal Palace. My family are still regulars there now. Should’ve have them crash your video. Hahahahahahaha!

I hate beef balls, you should of gone for prawn and chive, seafood, steamed squid and ginger, fried squid, vegetarian, gai larn (chinese broccoli anything but beef ball!, the yum cha there is quite cheap!, here in Australia its double the price, lucky you 😋**

Hi Danny the Medic! Food medic or medical medic 😊? Why don't you do a how to order dim sum series in Cantonese? That would be interesting. Also show some pics of the server and Dim Sum master chef. Not sure how I ended up on your videos but I enjoy it. I'm a former lower east side resident near Chinatown and I miss the ambiance that you are showing in your videos. I was also involved with the Chinese restaurant business.

Danny, if you have a chance, try the dim sum at Jade Asian Bistro in Queens. Traditional dim sum carts with fresh yummy food at reasonable prices. They have a branch in Manhattan but it is 3x the price and the dim sum is sent from the kitchen in Queens. You won't be sorry. Best on Thurs-Sunday(biggest selection on Sat &Sun) and freshest from 11-1230ish. Bus stops right there. If you get there on weekends at 1130 you have the best seating.

Chinese restaurants I have always enjoyed. But until I started watching you, I was very intimidated going in to a dim sum place.

the restaurant, food wise is pretty good. But they squeeze in as much table in with little room.

I'm not sure I would have enjoyed the atmosphere there ... although the decor is nice, the colors pleasant and it appeared to be very clean ... for me it would have been too crowded and too loud. However, the food appeared to be pretty good and it's always nice to enjoy a meal with a friend (Hi Steve! 🙂) BTW, did I miss something ... what did the "$88" sign mean? It didn't appear that you paid anywhere near that much. I guess I missed something in translation? 🤥🙄

Is Steve buying ? Dim sum is call yum cha. So tea go well with meal. Not cold glass of tap water. Im cheap but not cheaper than Danny for not ordering for pot of tea. . I ask for hot pot of water and pot of hot tea before eating.
Best bet on craps-$51 no 4. $51 wins $25 on a seven out with $1 for the vig. Try it. Trust me I am the Eye in the Sky. :)
