Just look at how much money it will cost you to pay all of your noob helpers! All of what, level 3 and they already get 20+ dollars/hr. Now, imagine if you had 100 employees earning 25 dollars/hr each. That amounts to no less than 25 hundred dollars per hour. Sure, you've got it marked up to 400%!!! But you won't sell a new car every hour on the hour will you?
Hands down, the best way is to hire ONLY 5 dollar an hour Level 1 noobs and train them to level 12 one at a time so as not to disrupt the factory line! Some key advantages of this is that one level 12 Transporter can carry more than 12 level 1 Transporters all in one go. Also, you control how much they get paid and how often they get raises. You can always increase their wages but you can't decrease them without taking a hit aginst your popularity. All my Level 12's never get more than 13 dollars per hour and I never give them more than a dollar per level. The secret is to train them one at a time until they reach level 12. You can run the entire operation with just 24 level 12's in all excluding researchers. You only train them up to research about 10~12 blueprints in a hurry! Once you have about a dozen blueprints FIRE all the researchers! Don't worry if you exhaust your supply of blueprints you can hire level 1 Researchers and train them up to 12 in a matter of minutes. But keeping them on the payroll when you no longer need their services is just a waste of good money! 24 12 dollar workers will keep it all running smoothly if you limit your product to just two models per year. With 5 lines in all, 4 will be for the current model and one is reserved for the next new model. You'll want to fill your parking lot with the new model before you even think about RELEASING it. If you release the model too soon you'll take a huge penalty against your popularity because clients tend to be very impatient and hate to wait for their cars to be made when they should have already been made! Popularity is what it's all about in this game! It's the only reason that you can get away with charging so much in the fist place! Always run 4 lines of the current model until it's popularity begins to tank. Wait until the popularity of the newer "UNRELEASED" model reaches around 2~3 thousand and there's nowhere else to park another car. Then is the time to release it... Then, is also the time to convert all of the other 3 lines to the new model leaving the 5th and final line reserved for the next new Bluprint in the succession. With just two sales floors and two slots you can display both the current model and the as yet, unreleased new model. You'll want to hype the crap out of it with advertising galore! It's what will drive up the popularity for it before even the first ones comes off the line. 3K popularity for it is the magic mark. Sure, you get a lot of complaints that the price is too high at 400% but then, they'll keep buying it making it even more popular so that you'll have literally no trouble at all selling all the remaining stock of it when it nears the end of it's cycle. I even bought the 50K land expansion so I could cover it with parking lots from end to end knowing I would get max profit on each and every single one of them.
