First off. Found out I was saying Brougham wrong after all this time so my bad on that factor! Tomato tomatoe from what I've heard over time!
The story on this car is a bizarre one. Not sure why it was let go the way it did.
Everything is original to the car from the front bumper to the back bumper! An extremely early 1974 as it's a 09/73 hence why it has a mixture of 1973 and 1974 stuff on it! To top it off, it's even a Sport but the side decals are not there for Sport but the front of the grill so dunno if they have fallen off over time or this car is just marked differently? After the video I checked and checked and checked on everything. Sure enough it all matches with no signs of the front clip being replaced! Has original miles too, not even flipped! I truly believe this had a white vinyl top hence the small damage you all will see. Lots and lots of hail dents I am going to take out when the warmer days arrive!
Here all of this started after looking up stuff for our late uncle's '72 Gran Torino in discovering that Brougham's exist. Spotted this one by accident thinking someone put the opera windows in yet they are factory!

For this car being a Sport Brougham, I dunno on what to say besides of everything being factory and matching from front to back on what I typed about in the description! Everything is original on the car from bumper to bumper as it's an extremely early 09/73 as why there is '73 mixed with '74 stuff on it! That's all I'm gonna go by and am aware people will come forward to try and say otherwise like how internet experts normally do!
Already had 8 people on TikTok lie in an attempt to claim they were the original owners of the car trying to state false information (trolls obviously) but they know nothing like usual for this car has gone through three owners with us being the third. Bought brand new and sold for a little higher than scrap value as the original owner did not want it anymore!

Great to see it home an its missing the tensioner pulley near the ac it will look great in that color scheme when done . If you have any rubber parts that have hardened ive used paint stripper on it to soften it than clean it off an apply a protectaint like 303

That car deserves to be saved. I think the light blue is a good color, too.

Are you going to keep the 73 nose on the car?

      It’s factory so yes.

@@TheDirtCatBrothersIt’s a 1973 ford end buddy. It is a Brougham but not a Sport. The car is a 74 with the wrong front bumper and grill.

@@Polemic-2525 I've explained this car through and through countless times though I'll explain it to you and I know you won't like it just like how everyone else thinks they're an expert on a car of mine yet don't know it's actual history. It was made a 73 1/2 by the parent company ordering the car lot to get rid of stock and they chose this car to do so. The VIN will come back as a 74 Brougham yes but was made into a 73 1/2.

@@TheDirtCatBrothers Your car is a 1974 Brougham with a 1973 nose. It’s not a Sport. There is no such thing as a 73 and a half. I’ve lived in that era. My parents had a 72 Brougham 4 door sedan. I had a 74 sport coupe, my best friend had a 75 Gran Torino coupe. You can call what you wanna call it. I’m currently more interested in my 2022 Tesla model Y. Good luck with your basket case of a car.

Never heard of a brougham sport unless it was a special order and is 73 not 74. Looks like the car was piece mealed with 73 and 74 parts.

Sport Brougham and this car was placed together at the dealership with 73 stuff to get rid of stock via order from the manufacturer Ford. It’s considered a 73 1/2 from what was found out. It’s listed as a Brougham though due to them wanting to get rid of stock this variant came into existence.

I'm pretty sure this is that from looking at the grill that's a 1973 grill not a 74 model it's gotta be a 73 grill because that's what it looks like I'm old enough to remember those cars very well

Did you know that car dealers will put on parts to get rid of their unsold stock by order of the parent company? This is a marked, but unmarked, Sport Brougham. I have updated this throughout the months and yet people don’t bother to research this more on the channel to find out.
In the end, I have made countless corrections about this car and don’t care who it upsets. I’ve found the history of this car and it’s not changing just to please everyone. It’s staying marked as a Sport Brougham.
