I had only 4 days to prepare for my GT and I was afraid of writing section and all I did was watch their videos of writing section - Task 1 and Task 2. They have explained the scoring so well ,that I could hit the scoring areas with support of their videos and score a 7 in writing!!

I certainly need to tell this, I got 9 bands in my PTE in 2019 only after watching Jay's tips.. I didn't enroll in their courses..just a youtube watch.. but whenever I see his video, I remember this...couldn't pass through the writing section for 9 band in PTE.. failed couple of times earlier, incorporated some tips from his videos, got the 9 band.. that's way back in 2019....

This is an appreciation tweet for Jay and E2 academy. I had one week for preparation and found this channel on TH-cam. I liked Jay's style of teaching and binge watched most of his videos for all four sections. I am happy to share that I have got band 8 in my IELTS Academic that too in first attempt. To be specific I got;
Listening: 9
Reading: 8
Writing: 6.5
Speaking 8.5
I have not used any other source for preparation except for some online practice tests.

Your videos were extremely helpful, especially the speaking and the writing ones (I was always confident on the listening & reading, still helpful though). I remember I was watching your & Alex's speaking tutorial video on the way to the test as well. I was so nervous during the car ride and watching it really calmed my nerves. Really really helpful, very very thankful. Used your PPF technique during the speaking test (8 band), Great work. Keep it up.

@@apoorvasomaiah3526 Not much as I mentioned. I already scored 8 bands overall 2 years ago in Academic. So the only major difference for GT this time was Task 1 (writing). This channel has some really good samples for that. There are a few more websites that I would suggest to read and learn from.

Hi! So brilliant presentations! Thank You! I fear I'll have to take an IELTS exam because of the incompetence of our (hungarian) authorities. I've taken an intermediate level English language test more than a decade ago, in 2002 there. The (state-approved, fancy, leather-covered) certificate was printed out only in Hungarian language, and the istitute refused to re-issue my certificate in English, because pre-2007 exams in Hungary were not met exactly the EU standard. So if the Dutch school where I would like to take my second degree, won't accept my own translation of that certificate, my English skills must have to be re-examinated. They accept everything from B1, through IELTS 4.5, but I want to be sure I'll get the highest score I'm capable of, for further purposes, including job offers. The reason why I would like to take an IELTS, is I don't have to specify the level during the registration, and I will have only a single exam to take without a risk of failing.
I gave my IELTS last month and I secured overall 7 bands
Speaking - 6
Reading - 6.5
Writing - 6.5
Listening - 8
I was not hoping to get even 6 in writing but I followed the format as your videos told and able to get sufficient marks in my first attempt

Kya hi fark padtaa refuse ho gya visa study ka bhi aur work ka to laga ni so Ielts is just my wastage of time for more than two years but yeah mostly self study

I had to take my IELTS academics within a month after a life-changing decision. I didn't have much time and money for classes. And I needed a score of 7.0. I bought one Cambridge book, followed Jay, and passed with a 7.5. :) :) It was my first try. Thank you, Jay!!!! I can recommend this channel to all of you!
If you haven't bought cambridge book you may have gotten an 8.

I felt really bad about my writing because I didn’t manage my time well, and as a result couldn’t finish my essay. But all in all, I’m grateful. This was my first attempt and I relied heavily on the videos from this channel.
