Oh it's wonderful you have this lovely plant. I have one too. It is quite rare in cultivation. I wish I had two so I can pollinate them. I love amorphophallus and have a few plants from the genus. I love the pink stem and pink on the edges of the leaves.

Hi, Thank you for the video. I have a plant from last year and had to re-pot it because it grew long and the pot was too small. I found no tuber but just roots that look healthy, is this normal? Also the leaves are light green and are down not flat and rigid as in your video. It should be getting enough water and light. Not in direct sunlight. I live in Malta, humid and 35 Celsius. Stem has no stains. What do you feed this plant? Can you Help? Thanks

Hello. So the first thing is to know what variety of Armophophallus you have. Then remember often times they go dormant and that will start from leaves withering out then the stem. I wouldn’t re-pot it until it goes dormant and the tuber has been formed. Also, the size of pot in regard to plant outgrowing it should be determined by tuber size rather than foliage. The feed is normal 21-7-7 and additional iron and pH reducer helps.Hope this helps.
      Thanks.

    Hello from Indonesia.
I have some questions about what are the potting mix do you use?
Does it love full bright sun and rain?

This is grown in regular potting mix which has Peat Moss,Perlite,Grounded Bark. Usually does well in filtered light. Bright sunny may scorch it.

I bought one labeled as atroviridis but it grew with green leaves and a light brown petiole. I saw the pink outline outside as it was unfurling but now its all green. Didn’t have the dark colors throughout its entire growth. Wondering if you have any insight if it was mislabeled or something else happened. :)

It might have been mislabeled or it’s not getting enough light to darken the pigmentation. You can be certain when it blooms, good news is it doesn’t take long to bloom.

hello, the leaf edges of mine is turning yellow and crispy, i checked the roots and tuber and its fine. the 1st tuber is now deflated but a new tuber, is bigger than the last one. is it going dormant? what am i doing wrong? its currently indoors with 60-70 humidity under a growlight

Hello … more than likely it’s going dormant. As long as the tuber is not mushy just wait until it fades away the foliage then clean and repot it.
