I've been thinking about getting a boat for restoration but a lot smaller. I grew up drooling over powered wooden speed boats like Gar wood and Chris Craft.

Old wooden boats are beautiful but a challenge for even skilled amateurs. I love fiberglass for many reasons, especially ease of maintenance

For the white paint, do you use glossy in the interior? What about for outside cockpit? Gloss can give more sun glare, but I find semigloss can look dull. (I'm due for a repainting, so I'm considering what I want to use.)

Just subscribed, suggested by Boatworks Today. Only viewed up to this episode. Did you have to repair any of the below the waterline structure; transom, stringers, bulkheads, keel?

Welcome William. Structure no. But there have been bulkheads constructed and some decking in the episode where I build the larger new head (bathroom). Please like and subscribe as new videos may cover something that will be interest. Thanks again

Great videos, looking forward to seeing allot more in the future. My question do you plan on adding solar panels to your boat. If so do you plan on utilizing the vast roof of the pilot house?

Garritt: yes there will be solar panels on the roof top, at least 2x 100 watts. This will go a long ways to powering the 12v refrigerator on a daily basis. I will be covering this as we progress along. Thanks again, please spread the word.
