My opinion why they feel the need to grab the reins, they think, 1. It makes them look special in the picture. 2. That it makes them look like they know everything about horses, NOT. Anybody with live brain cells and knows about horses, if its not your horse, don't touch the reins.
A few more things to mention about rein grabbing. 1. Interferes with the Guards ability to control the horse, by idiots pulling on the reins. 2. Pulling on the reins also hurts the horses mouth, as said idiots are pulling the metal bit in the horses mouth sideways. I have owned and ridden horses for a long time. Mostly without a saddle, meaning bareback.
4:54 - It annoys me how some people aim straight for the reins as if drawn to them by a magnetic force that to them the reins seem to emit!! 😡 6:30 - Gentleman wearing woolly hat with patriotic flag upon it! ✔ 13:40 - I bet those two beautiful horses are relieved that their shift is over!! 🐴❤🐴
Both horses are beautiful ❤, the one with the shorter legs looks like he'd be good working the land, lovely face and gentle nature. 😊well done that MOD police officer, I think the trooper was half asleep 😴
I think it was the first time these two guards have been boxmen. They aren’t new Guards as such as have medals and insignia on their sleeve which someone on another video said was para, just new to HG they made a complete hash of the dismount.
Terrible entry by the boxmen before the dismount. Where were they going? I saw this from someone elses view in the yard and it didn't look good! Hate to think what the CoH had to say. Thanks Abdullah. kiwi 🙂
Some of these "armed" police could do with getting with the script. Far to casual, should be more asertive when "asking" the crowd to get back beyond the bollards and having the STAY back. along with back behind the lines. THey KNOW when it's due. Like wise when they see "Authordox" jews approaching, they KNOW they are trouble.
The cops need to recruit some Girl Scouts to do their job for them. The Scouts can yell at the Sheeple and then sell them some cookies! That's more than these cops are doing!
The MoD Police officers job is not to protect the Guards or horses. Their job is to protect the site, including tourists who are there, against possible terrorist attacks.
He was really one of better miscreants who grab the reins. That Policeman is wonderful. The Lady Cop treats the horse like they are her kids.
