Bora Bora does looks like paradise on earth. The shallow water in some spots and the snorkeling looked amazing. Thanks for sharing, putting Bora Bora on my long list of places to visit.
As we've said before, we are not big tropical island guys. But Bora Bora is really something else. If you put it on the list, we hope you put it towards the top of the list 😎.
So very fancy, guys! We love South Pacific Islands, and although we have never been to FP yet, we will soon, and sailing is the way to go! Thanks for sharing y'all and stay safe!
WOW BEAUTIFULLY BORA BORA. THE SEE IS VERY CLEAN AND THE WOTHER IS TRASPARENT... BLESSED YOU GUYS TO FIND YOURSELF IN A SUCH BEAUTIFUL PLACE. WELL HAVE FUN.. HELLO FROM ITALY 🇮🇹
Bet the airfare to get to Bora Bora is pretty pricey...? Nice that you can always see the next island. Might be the biggest avocado I have ever seen! April says, groovy dance moves, James--LOL! Amazing skies there...so pretty! Cool geckos
Plane tickets actually fluctuate quite a bit and, if you're lucky, you can get a roundtrip ticket from LA or SF for less than $600. All in all, not much further or more expensive than Hawaii, but a lot more authentic.
Honestly, we would just skip Hawaii and go to Tahiti and Bora Bora instead. There are lots of ways to spend 1,000's of $$$ there, but also ways to do it in a semi-cheap way.
Hi guys, this was a really great video. I loved how you switch off during the narration making it like a conversation and how you included so many aspects of the travels like going to the supermarket, the weather, cooking, and of course, the nature. What a gorgeous place.
I love those elements, too. It makes the video more personal, down to earth, and relatable. There are a lot of videos on these islands but I liked yours best.
I’ve said for years that I would love to go to Bora Bora. The minute I saw this in my sub box I had to watch it! This is amazing! I’m so jealous haha! I’m sooooo surprised that the journey on camera took 5 hours to sail! Also, I physically lol’d at when you washed the plate in the ocean. Just didn’t expect it! Looked amazing guys!
That's so awesome. We've spent 5 weeks total on a catamaran (1 week each trip) in the British Virgin Islands 4 times and Croatia 1 time. I love seeing your life on the boat and having memories to our trip with daily routines like groceries, comfortability, anchoring, doing dishes, etc. And of course snorkeling there looks amazingly clear. -c/t
I think sailing is a great way to travel (but I’m biased…I’ve sailed quite a bit…and brought back a mono-hull to San Fransisco from Hawaii a couple of years ago). So which do you prefer: resort of catamaran? The Leopard catamarans are pretty nice! We’re actually thinking about buying a catamaran in a few years and doing the sailing thing full time for a while. What a great time you guys had: eating, snorkeling and sailing! That volcano is amazing looking! Obviously, loved the restaurant you went to…we’re partial to nice restaurants ya know 😂 Gorgeous video…thanks for sharing!
We don't think we're ready to spend several months on a boat, but a week at a time is great and we enjoy it more than resorts in general. That being said, the overwater bungalow in Bora Bora was fantastic.
Love that cabin it’s so big! And that’s awesome dance though 😎 What a wonderful day to sail!! the skies and the. water looks very beautiful! and what a cool experience to dive together with those fishes! The food looks delicious too! I’m amazed how you feed that sharks! And that triggerfish so vigilant stealing food! hahahahah nice adventure pal!

We hope you get the opportunity to go. It is a magical place.

We fully realized how blessed we are to be able to travel to such beautiful places. Bora Bora is absolutely spectacular!
@@JamesandLaurent thanks for replying back to me.
This is like one of my childhood dreams. It still is actually. Good video.
It was for us as well. And the reality was just as good 😊.

Good to know! We haven't been to Hawaii yet--in part because it is expensive to be there

Sounds great, thanks!

Thanks. We got this to a science now 🤣. We hope you get a chance to visit there some day. We highly recommend it.

That tiny fish stealing food from shark is epic! Looks like you had a lovely experience sailing with a Catamaran. Love you intro by the way :) c/t
Thanks. We had a great experience indeed.

Yes, a week at a time is the right duration. Even though we love it when we're on the boat, we don't think we could handle more than that.

Wonderful Thanks !
We really enjoyed it. We hope you get the chance to go.
Hello James and Laurent! Which company of Catamaran do you recommend! Thanks!
We used Sunsail and were very happy with them.
What was the name of the restaurant you like in Bora Bora at the end of your video?
It was on Matira Beach. But we believe it closed during the pandemic :(.
Lost the sound during the shark feeding. Is that me or the video?
It's the video. We didn't have much to narrate during the shark feeding and there were the live comments in the background anyway :).
First!
How ya doin', chiquitos?
We're doing great! We hope you are doing great too. We had not hard from you for a while. We were worried sick 🤥🤭.

Yes, doing great. I'm currently serving in the army, but have a four-day off.
Enjoy your days off. As a doctor, the army is probably not that demanding. But good to have time off.

Indeed, it's just a waste of nine months...
False advertising! Sailing? ⛵️ what sailing?
We sailed for a whole week on a catamaran. We just have a lot more to talk about the islands where we stopped than about the sailing itself.
