At 5:08 the long loop of the survival kit lanyard is shown on top of the girt end fitting, with the short loop through the trigger. Beginning at 7:38 the long loop of the survival kit lanyard is routed through the girt bar trigger.

Opening the door armed would make me nervous as hell because just my luck I would let the door go by accident and deploy the slide.

Better dont connect the grid bar until you install the escape slide, after installing the escape slide lash the grid bar and connect the grid bar
