I have had a V8 for two months and it has held up well. I got a 2nd one recently and it is all perfect QC. The shape really works for me and this is my favorite mouse of 2024 do far.
@@No-ub5ju The first one I got is a black unit and it is a finger print magnet. I really hate how it makes the mouse look gross. So I got a yellow unit which does not have that problem. I recommend the yellow as it is light like the black unit with most the finger print issue. The white unit has an extra UV coating to prevent yellowing so it will end up weighing a little more than the other two colors. Plus I think the yellow just looks good.

that will depends on your hand size i have small/medium hand size scyrox v8 fits me will if your hand is around much bigger go with vxe mad r major instead
three issues with the v8. battery only lasts around 30ish hours on 1k/w game mode on, very slippery coating compare to fnatic maya, and included skates are the worst i've ever used. overall i'm happy with it.

The numbers should be near the same. They are both using the same 8k compx firmware solution and I believe they both have the same Nordic 52840 mcu. I can not get the Xlat to work properly with the omron opticals unfortunately to test them.
@@kalor_2296 Because it is happening on other mice that I test using the Omron opticals. The Xlat system doesn't work with every mouse out there, for example it wasn't working with any mouse using Compx until they updated the firmware. I run into this issue often with other mice.
Keep hearing performance of the Scyrox is amazing. I wonder if the old Sora 4k performance has improved. Love that shape ... might see if a frankenstein is possible (sora 4k/scyrox internals).
really enjoying my scyrox atm. everything feels spot on with it! the skates i had where terrible tho. they where on a brown paper unlike your blue in vid so could be different :/
mine was on brown paper too, and they were scratchy so i replaced them instantly. also, did your copy come with the full skates pre-installed? mine did and in this video aimadapt's copy came witt the skates seperated. tho i dont have any complaints about the mouse other than the skates.
I have the VXE R1 Pro and I love its shape. Thanks to it I discovered that my hand is a claw relaxed grip. I come from a very aggressive ZA13B... I wanted to try the shape of the Scyrox and decide between it or the Mad R. Do you think the Scyrox is good for the claw relaxed grip? Best regards!

Hi, I have the 159 apex and I'm still considering buying the scyrox. My aj159 apex has some sensor/signal problems where it gets stuck or slowed down for a slight second. Definetely some QC problems. Maybe ajazz fixed in the new batches. You would get better battery life with the aj 159 apex, but also more weight. I would go straight with the scyrox to avoid any QC problems
they feel quite similar tbh, atlantis is like a mini version of it tbf, the clickers on the atlantis i didint like tho with the side lip hitting my finger
My Mad R Major doesn't work with the VXE R1 PRO cable. The Major only wants to work with the original cable that came with it. I don't like this cable, it's stiff.
@@misterpoppins The problem is that my mouse won't work with another cable. Windows doesn't recognize it and when it does, the mouse malfunctions. It only works properly with the original hard cable. Very sad.

@@mikerzisu9508 The V8 and x2h v3 got the same tech, pulsar modifed the 3950 so you could change the dpi by 10increments and boosted it a little bit. The V8 is 39g compared to 53, has the 8k dongle included and the pulsar don't, that's an additional 30$ and now it's basically 130$ compared to the 63$ V8 on ali. Gonna be a hard buy if the scyrox holds up, it's basically the same mouse. (in between of x2h/x2h mini)
@@saintEGO They feel way different. The MAD R has less of a hump and flat sides. The V8 has a fairly big hump and the sides curve in. The MAD R is similar to a Pulsar X2 medium and the V8 is similar to a Pulsar X2H but slightly larger.
Until a mouse comes out with lower latency than my ULX Tiger… we don’t have anything to talk about. My copy has not one single issue after almost a year of daily use. Don’t forget y’all… gaming is your hobby. If you don’t splurge a bit on anything else in life, splurge on your hobby and get the best gear you can get.
First and most importantly, 8K mouse with 250mAh battery, it'll last a day's game play he says ...but battery will inevitable degrade and in no time at all, it'll NOT last a day and require charging mid-game ! A 500mAh battery at 42g would be more logical. Secondly, the hyping of Omron optical switches ...but no mention of origin of manufacture........that's BS and irrelevant as there's great difference between ChinRons and JapRons. There's a much more stringent of manufacturing tolerance with Japanese Omrons, the ChinRons are shite and will fail right after the warranty. Thirdly, the price is too high. Better mouses (as in mechanical with mice as in vermins) can be purchased at a cheaper price. Finally, what is this video abourt ? "These mice were sent out to me, however.....my own words and opinions", my backside. This is nothing but a pre-production PR Marketing video and what he received are demo models ! Who is he trying to kid ?
Absolutely hate this mouse, has higher latency than the ulx I'm coming from, badly balanced and polling rate is tied to the dpi if I raise my polling rate I need to higher my dpi as well for it to feel the same. Also the shape is really only good for aggressive claw or ftip

am i trippin or do the omron opticals have a sharp high pitched echo on basically every mouse? Isnt it annoying to hear?
it does have a slight metallic "ping" i have heard it on my sora v2, atk x1 but it does not really bother me.

Damn 30 hours is pretty poor at 1k. Thats got be only like 12-15 on 4K. Hmm, might still get one for purely gaming.

Scyrox has the 9th lowest latency of any mouse as of 2025.its a tad bir more than the gpx 2 light speed with 8k dongle.faster than the mad r

Are the thumb buttons on the v8 higher than on the x2hmini? My thumb keeps hitting 'mouse4' while squeezing the x2hmini and I just can't use it.

Did you remove the sensor ring from the bottom of the mouse? Ive found that removing that on a glass pad tends to scrath a little.

I believe it is the same as the peak performance mode that utilizes full power to the sensor but that is not confirmed.

@@mee_guel Mine has been lasting a full day with 8k. You do need to recharge it every day with higher polling rates.
I will be waiting for the x2h refresh that is coming soon.
