Cows actually really like music, just not the drums - a little too scary. If the 2 sax players played w/o the drummers they would have come right up them and hung out. I used to do it with a trombone.
Coor DaLoor I'd like to fuckin see you try it and do better! Ungratefull bullshit. Those cows couldn't stay away.. This music's awesome if only they hadn't killed the end.
Instead of using profanity and getting your panties in a twist, why don't you watch the other video, and then compare the way the cows respond to the music, and see what you think. In the other video, the cows come closer to the music; in this one, they seem to be trying to get further away. I didn't insult the music, in case you missed that -- in fact I LIKED the music. I just don't think the COWS did. Keep in mind that intelligent, free-thinking people don't need to swear and insult one another to have a conversation; try it sometime, it's quite nice actually.
They don't like the percussion - it frightens them - but they do seem to love the sound of brass instruments. I've watched several videos of this type and the cows always form a straight line to watch/listen ... they're very orderly animals.
I lost my everloving MIND when I stumbled on your show the other night at Phases you guys... Holy shit. I felt like I was having an awesome, funky ass seizure!! Can't wait to see you in St. Louis!
Just saw them in NY the other day and they rocked the place!! Nobody knew who they were before but they had everyone's respect after the set. Quote of the night "I have never heard three guys make that much noise!"
+arsenal8884 Saw them Feb. last year at Terminal 5 in Manhattan opening for Lotus. I'm from Virginia and came up there to see specifically them and Lotus tear shit down. I head about them about 3 or 4 years ago. To say nobody knows who they are is a stretch. When they took stage at Terminal 5 the whole place went nuts.
Cows come back to listen time and time again and again even though they want to get going and eat! Awesome music appreciation accepted! Great drums and saxes ta boot!
love that some of the cows turn to the cow next them like they're asking their buddy what's going on You guys held their attention pretty well, I'm sure this venue is always open for you.
that whitish grey heifer in the back around 3:46 wanted to dance! So fun to watch- i'd love to see what the Bulls with their own Horns would have to say- it could be a "dueling horns" and some of those cows are definitely are a bunch of hams
i love how the cows run away but then always come back because they can't fight their curiosity. so damn cute!
btw... awesome music too!
No the music the train wreck the cows couldn't turn away God awful music
😂
The cows ran away to mosh.
Cows actually really like music, just not the drums - a little too scary. If the 2 sax players played w/o the drummers they would have come right up them and hung out. I used to do it with a trombone.
They started coming back after hearing that cow bell!
this is the indiest shit ive ever seen
lmao
Victoria Pitt LOOOOOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This may well have been the most interesting thing that happened in their field all week! Something to talk about down the abattoir.
All week? More like ever lol....
100% of the cows that ran came back to listen.
Hahahahahahaha!!!
"OH SHIT WHAT WAS THAT! EVERYBODY RUN!!!!............
wait.....that shit sounds pretty dope. Come back! Aye bruh check these muffukkas out!"
Yeper sir
It’s like resurrecting from that fatty bump of kitty to find main stage lmao
My ex ran to see this
Cows make pretty good crowds. Who moo?
Oj niezły niezł hehe
Awesome!
the cows are running away from the shitty music
Coor DaLoor

You guys have one of the most unique sounds that I've heard in new music in quite some time. I really, really enjoyed listening to this. Big ups.
yep, its a. awful sound...look how the cows ran. normally they come to music, not run away. 🤣🤣
The cows really don't know what to make of it do they? They run away... come back to listen... run away again... come back to listen.
Great cowreography !
MOO HOOCH
MOO HOOCH
Mooch
Not sure what I did or why TH-cam recommended this 10 year old video... But I'm glad they did.
The way the cows react is what gets me every time
I'm sure somebody already said "more cowbell!"
+Bruce Johnston MOOOOOOOOOOOOOAR COWBEEEEELLLL!!!!!!!!
Time to lift some cattlebells
I did!! Lmao
They don't like the percussion - it frightens them - but they do seem to love the sound of brass instruments.
I've watched several videos of this type and the cows always form a straight line to watch/listen ... they're very orderly animals.
That's awesome!
the saxophone isn't a brass instrument xD
During Marching season, we were at a parade and there were horses- as we were warming up with 8 on a hand, they started going apes**t
steveday72 They arent orderly, they just all want to see.
Their curiousity is matched by their 'cow'ardice
Must be all those cowbells...
How in-the-world did who ever film this get this sound with so much wind and no mics right next to you??
An udder delight.
Came here for the cows, stayed for the song.
yeah! they were really good XD although cows were not that fond of the drum I certainly enjoyed it :D
i love how terrified the cattle are but they still cant handle there curiosity
Just saw their NPR Tiny Desk Concert and it was amazing. This does not disappoint either :)
Absolutely love the drummers face during the whole song, he's loving it!
has really no one said anything about the didgeridoo in his sax? This man deserves an award
why, cause he put a cardboard tube on the end of a sax? 🤣🤣🤣
hahaha, at 4:00 when the left guy with the tube turns around and the curious cows RUN. OH SHIT.
Great music though. love it!
Music is universal language
I've watched this video countless times over the last 11 years. Never gets old. So good. 💖
LoL....I'm amazed at how the cows all lined up, when they started playing. And one of them was head bagging!!
+Moon Hooch "Cowchella Moosic Fest"
-FreddyTorre
I thought I saw a cow bobbing his head to the music for a second there.
seen as how these cows react to the music, i cant help but think there is some serious potential for cow-circlepits!
From all videos with cows and music, they don’t appreciate sounds like this music and drums, they prefer calm and slow jazz
drummer goes nuts with the break downs
I lost my everloving MIND when I stumbled on your show the other night at Phases you guys... Holy shit. I felt like I was having an awesome, funky ass seizure!! Can't wait to see you in St. Louis!
These guys are funking great!
I enjoy how there is always a few stray cows that hang back like "Screw the bell... This is interesting". Still wonderful to watch.
Lmao I love everything about this video, from the funky music to the adorable bovine reactions...awesome job guys.
This is the most interesting concert for cows I've seen. The energy of the band is giving them energy to run around and be playful! So cute!
I am watching this again just to hear the song and watch you guys have a good time. Its all good feels over here!
This is the perfect reaction to this type of chaotic music. Some will stay, most will leave. Great music guys.
Those cows are certainly getting an experience; ... makes you ponder how cows see the world. Nice!
You guyz are outstanding in your field! 🐄🐄🎷🥁🎷
Just saw them in NY the other day and they rocked the place!! Nobody knew who they were before but they had everyone's respect after the set. Quote of the night "I have never heard three guys make that much noise!"

Back thru Portland Or again tonight. Thanks for revisiting us on the west coast
I can just imagine a full concert like this but the entire audience is just animals
An instant classic! I freaking love you guys.
I would not want to taste the milk! Great music. My 6 years old son is learning sax and he loves you.
Cows come back to listen time and time again and again even though they want to get going and eat! Awesome music appreciation accepted! Great drums and saxes ta boot!
It's awesome you can play anywhere because you don't have to plug in anything.
The cows had the exact same reaction as I did upon the first time I heard Moon Hooch.
Nice! The cows actually all turned around and are facing you guys like a cow audience. Crazy. And crazy good.
Nice cowllaboration
This was one of the very first of the Moon Hooch videos we came across, what a wonderful introduction to a wonderful band!
Cow Blaster!! Quite funny and sick jam!
Thank you yourube shorts for introducing me to this. Incredible. Haha i love it!
you guys are to fucking good! this song is unbelievably catchy! hope you guys go far.
love that some of the cows turn to the cow next them like they're asking their buddy what's going on
You guys held their attention pretty well, I'm sure this venue is always open for you.
10 years flew by!
You guys just invented a new genre of music. And I like it.
This show was so sick!!! Thank you!
this is fantastic guys!
Who needs a bari sax when you've got a tenor sax and a big freaking tube
I like the build up. Those cattle seem enjoying it.
That was so interesting it was like once they realised the noise wasn't a danger, they enjoyed it.
that whitish grey heifer in the back around 3:46 wanted to dance!
So fun to watch- i'd love to see what the Bulls with their own Horns would have to say- it could be a "dueling horns" and some of those cows are definitely are a bunch of hams
at 3:47 cows defeated by the music run n a panicky rout. Love that piece anyways.
Imcall it CowStep™
haha
I applaud you guys for tearing it up out there on the farm.
This is so incredibly cool! The power of music at work...
This is like playing dubstep for your great grandmother -- same reactions bahaha
That's one way to make a sax sound like a bassoon. XD Nice music.
First dubstep I've heard "like this"... nice!
Udderly fantastic! outstanding in your field!
I like how the wind picks up at the first drop, like all of nature knows the hit has to be dramatic.
Ya this was pretty incredible
Cows love that funk sound too 😆 🤣
This is pretty much the best thing ever. The kind of thing that keeps me going forward in a positive way - like Pomplamoose....or bacon.
They all lined up because they felt threatened. -Y'all are just that awesome. xD
Amazing! Nice sound, perfect location. All in all good job!
Good first song to hear. I'm gonna be hooked.
Loving the interaction with the cattle!
I never comment on TH-cam videos, but, this... I don't even know what I just watched, but I love it.
What an insane sound! It's amazing!
This always puts a big smile on my face
De mis favoritas!
Cows are down af 😂 they love it, it fires them up how cool
Absolutely Brilliant!

I love watching the cows react to the song!!!!
Nice music and crowd!
GREAT!
I love the cave music. The cattle seem to like it too. thank you.
As a drummer myself, your ghost rolls are beautiful.
Holy cow! These guys are great.
I love how they keep winning back the cows .
just watched these guys perform and theyre amazing!!!
Hooch be blowin' them little cowsies' minds! Exocool.
Not many people can make me think that Gong could have benefited from having them, but you guys do. Thanks for doing what you're doing.
the cows were like: oh man it's awesome!!
I love how the cows fluctuate between fascination and panic.
Amazing, ❤️❤️❤️ and well crafted song
Amazing band and amazing video concept.
Despite the cattle, these guys are really good. This is a cool and super unique sound, I really like it.
Dude the groove is sick!
Damn sons....dope......
