If your lucky you can do this in a parking lot or on the side of the road, if your smart you will do it in your garage!

You are 100% correct, I’ve performed this same procedure for over 30 years on many different varieties of trailers and I’ve never had bearings to seize up on the spindle. Failure to grease the wheel bearings, failure to inspect the suspension for wear & tear or over exceeding the trailer weight limit is the perfect recipe for a breakdown. You can either spend a few buck at home in your garage or a lot more money on the road.

Very very educational. How often does this have to be done.

Good question, check with your specific trailer manufacturer for their mileage recommendation but California Side Car recommends that my trailer bearings are repacked every 7,500 miles.

@@phillipvazquez284 my Can Am 622 trailer has the exact same style seals and roller bearings as my Escapade Trailer so I follow the same mileage recommendation but check with a Can Am dealer for your Freedom Trailer recommended servicing to be exact..

You are missing the right swingarm pivot dust cap. You will trash those bearings without cap. Ask me how I know

Did you watch the whole video because I pointed out the missing dust cap at 28:52 seconds and emphasized the trailer arm bearing at 39:03 seconds.

Waste of time have you not heard of bearing buddies I run them on all my trailer’s it keeps a steady pressure of grease on the bearings so they are full of grease all the time
