I had hydrangeas in Illinois & they did fantastic! I luv them. I was just at Disney World & they had them. Will they grow in North Florida in full Sun all afternoon? Please say yes, any variety?

I live in central FL and I’m sorry but I’d have to say definitely will not survive in full sun in FL! I am having a hard time finding the right spot to keep one alive where I live and I have shaded areas! The FL summers seem to fry the leaves!

Check out Limelight hydrangea. They can be planted in full sun; their blooms are magnificent! I don't know how they will fare with the intensity of Florida heat though. In GA, we have county agriculture extension agents who can answer all things growing. I would answer them first.

In Illinois, where did you plant? In full sun, shade, partial? Thanks.

I live in NY and I placed mine in an area that is sunny all day and they're not looking good. Ok first year due to lots of watering, ok next year with few flower not looking so lushy and looks pretty brittle and dried out third year. I think I need to move them.

I’d like to ask you a question if you don’t mind. Those hydrangeas with flowers you can get in early spring, will they continue to bloom in summer after being planted in the garden?

I just watched you video on planting new Hydrangea. I have endless summer big leaf blooms truck and I live in northern N J. it will be raining the next few days so I can plant them maybe this Monday 5/1/23 . the temp will be low 40's in the evening to mid 50's to low 60's for a week or so. should I wait till it gets a little warmer ? Can I leave them in the house by a window for a week or so?

I’m in zone 4B, do I need to wait until the last frost to plant hydrangeas? I’m so anxious!! 😁

In my experience, you can plant anytime you want as long as you wster the plant enough .

Is it normal for them to look droopy after 3 days of planting them? The soil is still moist

Great video… What’s the difference between The original vs bloomStruck hydrangeas? What will give that full look in a pot?

My hydrangeas was pretty blue and when I put them in the ground, about 7 days later now the leaves look like they r dead . Why didn’t they stay pretty blue. This is in May. Please tell me what to do?

Some thing happened to mine. Next day flowers wilted so much that I had to cut the flowers off. Hope I didn't kill the plant by doing so.

Well now I feel like I need to move the endless summer I planted 3 days ago farther away from the deck!

Hmm, so no root teasing? Just plop the root mass and soil from the pot down in there and back fill? 🧐
