I’m an international student and I’ll be doing an exchange semester at McGill in the fall and your vlog really served as a comfort reminder that it’s gonna be fine. I do have a question tho, do you think learning French is essential when coming to Montreal? I’m really worried that I wouldn’t be able to click with people or find it hard to get around. Thanks
From my experience in Montreal and as a mcgill student French is only an asset when looking for jobs or internships in Montreal. In terms of navigating and communicating when living in Montreal you will be just fine with English.
I 100% agree with this McGillian! People are so friendly and you don’t need to speak french when it comes to exchange. I am so excited for you! You will have a blast
