That moment at 15:30 when your fish runs into a school of bait and a pelican just takes advantage of the panic to grab a mullet is absolutely epic and exactly why I love your videos! For me catching fish is secondary in angling, the real goal is finding myself in such situations, vivid explosions of life that we're lucky to still be able to witness.

Dude what a day on the water. Great fishing and in a beautiful area that would allow for those bigger fish to run once hooked. Excellent patience with the big snook getting it out of the mangroves. Whew!

That was epic fishing action. They were tearing up the live bait. That big snook went straight to the mangroves. Awesome job getting her out and then finishing out the video with a monster jack, epic video.

I was going fishing early this morning. Got the boat all packed and went through the boat-ready checklist, and got the rods all rigged up. But, had trouble sleeping. Woke up with the sun shining through the window. Way too late to go fishing. 😵. I'm glad someone woke up early to go fishing.

Hi Rich, I caught one of those monster Jacks down at the Port of Palm Beach, Lake Worth inlet during the spring mullet run on my 9 weight fly rod (10 pound Tipet) years ago. Took me an hour to land the thing because of the deep water, their power and flat body. Dang thing almost emptied my. 200 yards of backing in the first run Never would have landed it from shore. The next day I ordered a 12 weight.

Its just crazy how monsters like that can be landed with 10lb braid... just gotta be patient is all.

Don't put the timestamps to the fish you catch. You'll get more watchtime. If you feel your not proud of something retake that segment or cut it out. Your creative and a great fisher. Lures, fishing spots, fish, stories, boats, companies, amd your reels amd rods man. Keep up the flow 🖖

Why are you retrieving your live mullet? I also fish the IntraCoastal not far from you, but when I use live bait I let it swim where it wants, it resembles an injured fish due to the hook & line hopefully making it more attractive to the predators...

Good video. Have one question I don’t know if snook are in season or not. But when I watch videos of people fishing for them nobody keeps any. So are they like the bass of the saltwater fishery ? Meaning you can eat them but most people prefer to catch and release them so that get bigger and are fun to catch.

Why do you use right handle reel also in spinning reel?
Is it just out of habit? Try to reverse them and you will see that holding the rod with the right hand is much better !!

Wow what a day! Definitely your best video ever. A big jack then a 37 inch snook, and finally to end it off a giant jack(easily 30 pounder). Love the videos man. Can’t tell u how exited I am to watch them and learn so much more about fishing. Tight lines!

I am also a lure kind of fisherman.. I use a lot of Yo-zuri lures.. I have a bout 6 different Yo-zuri lures and they all work great. I've lost a few lures due to cudas.. vicious little creatures... Lol.. always enjoy your videos never missed one. I'm also a born and raised Jersey boy but live in pompano beach now. Fish to live and live to fish. Stay safe.
