I really wanted to read it cause the trailers for the movie made it look like it would be some fun road trip / mystery, but my friend who had read it told me to not even touch that book with a ten foot poll. From what she's told me and from other things I've heard, I'm very glad I didn't waste my time reading it, cause I know I probably wouldn't have liked it.
Mesly Ruño Omg the constant juggling between the guys was so frustrating. JUST. CHOOSE. A. GUY. Still loved the series though, but also very frustrating.
I've been wondering this too! I'm sure it's a daunting task since your bookshelves are expanding so quickly but I'm so looking forward to your new bookshelf tour Sasha! You're going to kill it! 📚📚📚📚
Marcus' Book Nook I agree it is hard to start even I had to find the determination. But once I found two easy video editing apps for my phone I'm on my way and having a bit of fun with it.
I got so frustrated by Harry potter and the cursed child, mainly because of the fact there wasn't much of interaction when they were at the school. I felt like it was a page of them on the Hogwarts express then a line saying they were at the school then within the next couple of lines it was 'and then it was the Christmas holidays, time to go home' and I was just like 'no. I want to see them experience some of school...'
I fucking hate _Throne of Glass_. And people actually have the fucking nerves to compare it with _A Song of Ice and Fire_ and call it the young adult/female version of it. The only thing _A Game of Throne_ and _Throne of Glass_ have in common are the two words that appear in both titles. That shitty ass young adult book has *_NOTHING_* on ASOIF.
*_Especially_* since I don't like it I will call it shitty lmao And I get that people have their individual opinions but there is absolutely no doubt that that _shitty_ book doesn't even hold a candle against ASOIF, whether that be in the aspect of storytelling, world-building, plot, etc.
Jon Snow [Targaryen] [DAKINGINDANORF] calm the fuck down, dude. it can't be compared to asoif. the ones who Do it clearly don't have a clue what throne of glass is about. still, it isn't a shitty book. just because you didn't like the comparison(which I don't like either) or the book itself, doesn't call for insulting. you can still have your opinion without being offensive.
I think it's a horrible, shit book. That's an opinion. If that offends you, if you think that is offensive for some reason, I'm not going to shut up about it :)
B Graziano I got so frustrated with Maxon in the second two though. And Kriss. And Celeste until the ending. I didn't have a problem with America though
I actually enjoyed the idea of the Selection series, but after the first book, during the second and most of the third I was just like "just piiiiiiick a dude America and STOP BEING SO FRUSTRATING"
Bullet Witch You're not. To me, he's one of those authors that I cannot get into. Fault In Our Stars? DNF. Paper Towns? DNF. Looking for Alaska? I managed to actually finish it. So proud of myself. But still, two stars rating out of five. Not much difference.
Jadein Forteau I can't remember what he did because it was a while ago, but Jace just irritated me so much to the point where I needed to take a break lol but I'm going to get back into the series as soon as I'm done reading my current book!
WHY ARE YOU UPLOADING WHEN IT'S 3AM AND I HAVE FINALS TOMORROW AND I SHOULD BE SLEEPING BUT I AM STUDYING BUT THEN YOU UPLOADED SO I HAD TO WATCH AND NOW I'M AWAKE AND NOT EVEN STUDYING WHAT but the video was totally worth it and i feel you 100% with paper towns!
When you first brought up Paper Towns by John Green, I was like 'What? How could you not love it?!' and then you explained more in detail and every word you said I related to. By the way, whenever someone asks me what a fangirl does/ even is, I will show them this video because this is the closest representation I have seen with out watching Christine Riccio (sometimes she talks really quickly and I can't understand her, but I love watching her videos regardless). Thank you for making this video, I loved it and could relate a ton!
I think that City of Ashes was so frustrating for me because I kind of kneeewwww in my heart they wouldn't be (or I was really messed up for shipping it, one of the two) and so I felt like I was just IMPATIENTLY waiting for it to be over so we could get on with it hahaha. That being said, I still loved the book.
LeaTheHatless YEs !!! Insurgent was like one of the worst books I read in 2016. It just drove me nuts when Tris and 4 kept lying to each other and I thought it was so slow and nothing happened...ugh. But divergent was great though!
I love Tobias but his pov annoyed the eff out of me! He literally repeated everything tris said and added something about genes every three sentences, and the ending! No! I loved divergent and insurgent
I just reread City of Ashes and OMG! I wanted to scream the whole time! And I know I have to read through all of City of Glass untill they finally know the thruth! AH!
I completely agree about Dragonfly in Amber. I fell in love with Outlander because it was a love story to Scotland. There were parts that I enjoyed about Dragonfly in Amber but it wasn't when they were in the French Court. I did absolutely love Voyager! That book wrenched my heart out quite a few times. Can't wait till you read it and review it!
a book that i loved but frustrated me so much was Empire of Storms by Sarah J. Maas because there was so many characters that it felt stretched out and like nothing was happening and it didn't focus on Aelin or Dorian and that made me sad :((( but I feel like the last 200 pages saved it because THAT ENDING OHHHH MYYYY GODDDDD
Yass!! Where the Rainbow Ends really frustrates me, their timing was soo terrible. But I can't stop because I just had to know that they do get together in the end
I didn't enjoy Paper Towns as well. It took me so loooooong to read and after a long time I finally stopped at page 100 or something... couldn't get through it.....
I totally and completely agree with you about dragonfly in amber.... took me forever to get through. I just couldn't get into Paris but I knew I needed to read it in order to get to the other books.
I love your energy! You're so much fun to watch. I've never read a John Green book but you helped solidify the fact that I don't really want to read one.Dustlands sounded super weird. I don't think I could read a novel where the dialogue didn't have quotes o.O
OMG Sasha! I couldn't agree more with you about Dragon in Ambar! I read Outlander 6 years ago and I enjoyed it so much that I read it 3 times... and then last year I was reading Dragon in Ambar and I could not finish it.
Omg Sasha I have been watching your fabulous channel for quite a few months now maybe almost a yea but I just now got a TH-cam account I'm so excited to be joining your amazing world of books
Alejandra Zamora I unfortunately did read it. I actually found it less annoying but stupid nonetheless. Eadlyn's attitude changes a bit but it's only takes a certain someone to go on the brink of death...but she's still selfish. I thought it was also messed up how all the suitors got disqualified as it went on. It just felt like such a plot device to get "easily" rid of some of the guys. I rated The Crown 2 stars and The Heir 1 star if that says anything lol.
I was going to suggest a video similar to this, books you really wanted to like and were excited to read but just couldn't get into it. :D My list always surprises people. Great video as always Sasha~
I definitely agree with how frustrating City of Ashes is 😂 but I love the book and the series a lot, too. Your reviews are amazing, and I love seeing your hair red! 😂😍
I agree with City Of Ashes, that whole situation annoyed me so much, I DNF'ed it the second time I read it, but thank god Jace turns out not to be Jonathan
OMG Sasha you just read my mind. I discovered Outlander because of you (thank you) and I LOVED. The first book I read in 3 days but the second book took me forever to finish. I just want to go back to Scotland I didn't like the time spent in France...
I love your videos, I've been subscribed a while and I watched your videos and then got 17 brand new books and I'm big on reading now! I always was but now.........😄😄thank you
Yeah my cousin tried to make me read The Dustlands. I took one look at the pages and I was like - nope no quotations, it will bother me the whole time. 😂
I had the exact same feelings on Paper Towns!! I NEED to read Outlander this year! City of Glass frustrated me because in one scene Clary and Jace were arguing and in the next one it was okay again and ahh!! My feelings... And you are back to red hair, yay! I mean, I liked the other hair color as well but I discovered you with read hair so... :D
I get what you're saying about Dustlands. It took me a bit to get used to the way the book was formatted, and to get used to the characters dialect. BUT honestly, that trilogy was pretty amazing! It's a violent dystopian novel with lots of action, drama, and a bit of a mystical element. One of the best dystopian trilogies I've read in awhile. Give it another shot :)
hahahaha your CoA reaction is so hilarious and SO relatable! That's one of my favorite books in the series, because I actually really enjoyed the frustrated emotions brought out of me... did that make sense? hahahaha. Yeah CC knows how to pull on emotions XD

FINALLY SOMEONE WHO DOESN'T LIKE PAPER TOWNS!
Emily_345 IKR paper towns is so bad I hated it!!!!!
Emily_345 Someone in my old class highly recommended it, so I decided to pick up paper towns. What a mistake that was.
Emily_345 i never even finished it
I really wanted to read it cause the trailers for the movie made it look like it would be some fun road trip / mystery, but my friend who had read it told me to not even touch that book with a ten foot poll. From what she's told me and from other things I've heard, I'm very glad I didn't waste my time reading it, cause I know I probably wouldn't have liked it.
Emily_345 I couldn't finish that book, I hated it. I had only 40 pages or so to read and I couldn't do it. I was so mad at the characters... 😤
your bookshelves look so nice wow look at that. ignite me. wonderful.
WhittyNovels I wonder who organized them....
fraser
@@abookutopia you of course, sasha...or not?
Yeah John Green just writes really dull characters that are super basic in my opinion
theworldofbooks Yaas, thank you!
theworldofbooks true
theworldofbooks FINALLY SOMEONE SAID IT
his whole purpose is to write basic relatable characters . they are not supposed to be unique they are just supposed to be someone you could relate to
ELİFSU G you can relate to them if you're hella boring
The selection series made me super frustrated but I couldnt stop reading them which made me even more frustrated
ikr, especially The Elite urrrgh
Mesly Ruño Omg the constant juggling between the guys was so frustrating. JUST. CHOOSE. A. GUY. Still loved the series though, but also very frustrating.
I read the whole saga and I get angry, I was annoyed that it was so superficial. Everything was focused on she, she and only she
Mesly Ruño i hate the selection i only read the tree it end so stupidity and this was after i hear much bout it. ugh mistakes
Mesly Ruño YES I AGREE SO FRUSTRATING
:o Your hair reminds me of Clarys! (in the tv show)
"are they aLL lIKe ThIsSss¿¿¿"
love you girl
Any John green book frustrated me, idk why 😂
YES TO CITY OF ASHES OMG
Jay G same! I dont like john green too!!
Are you going to do a bookshelf tour for 2017???
*crosses fingers*
Jocelynn Reads yes!
abookutopia YESSS! I will be looking foward to it
YESSSSSSSS!!!
I've been wondering this too! I'm sure it's a daunting task since your bookshelves are expanding so quickly but I'm so looking forward to your new bookshelf tour Sasha! You're going to kill it! 📚📚📚📚
Oh, if I were ever to stop procrastinating and do a booktube channel, this would be an awesome topic to discuss
Marcus' Book Nook you should do it!
Marcus' Book Nook I agree it is hard to start even I had to find the determination. But once I found two easy video editing apps for my phone I'm on my way and having a bit of fun with it.
The Selection series... I don't know why, but I must read them! But they also piss me off!!
Yasss I'm so early! Now I have to make a joke:
My life
evie.love77 👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻
I got so frustrated by Harry potter and the cursed child, mainly because of the fact there wasn't much of interaction when they were at the school. I felt like it was a page of them on the Hogwarts express then a line saying they were at the school then within the next couple of lines it was 'and then it was the Christmas holidays, time to go home' and I was just like 'no. I want to see them experience some of school...'
One (or three) of the mpst frustrating books i read is the selection series, I STILL LOVE THEM THOUGH
Jon Snow [Targaryen] [DAKINGINDANORF] just because you didn't like it,it doesn't mean it's shitty and bad!
*_Especially_* since I don't like it I will call it shitty lmao
And I get that people have their individual opinions but there is absolutely no doubt that that _shitty_ book doesn't even hold a candle against ASOIF, whether that be in the aspect of storytelling, world-building, plot, etc.
Jon Snow [Targaryen] [DAKINGINDANORF] calm down everyone has their own opinion
The Selection Series = Constant... CONSTANT FRUSTRATION! *yanks hair out*
CardinalsLuvBooks more like constant rage because America was such a bitch 😁
Kristina Ma maxon is the only one that held me through it
B Graziano I got so frustrated with Maxon in the second two though. And Kriss. And Celeste until the ending. I didn't have a problem with America though
CardinalsLuvBooks I wanted to stab someone while reading the elite, especially. I was so frustrated like ugh
I actually enjoyed the idea of the Selection series, but after the first book, during the second and most of the third I was just like "just piiiiiiick a dude America and STOP BEING SO FRUSTRATING"
I've never even read John green. Feel like I'm missing out on something, the way people talk about it.
Bullet Witch No, you are not missing anything
Jelena Timotijevic that's great then XD
Bullet Witch I feel like they are very hit or miss so maybe try out one and see if you like his style
Bullet Witch You're not. To me, he's one of those authors that I cannot get into. Fault In Our Stars? DNF. Paper Towns? DNF. Looking for Alaska? I managed to actually finish it. So proud of myself. But still, two stars rating out of five. Not much difference.
I loved TFIOS and Will Grayson x2, but the others are just kinda... meh
I was so frustrated with City of Fallen Angels that I actually stopped reading the series BUT I SWEAR I'M GOING TO FINSH IT
Lia why
Lia it was good
Jadein Forteau I can't remember what he did because it was a while ago, but Jace just irritated me so much to the point where I needed to take a break lol but I'm going to get back into the series as soon as I'm done reading my current book!
Lia ok thats good have you read TID if you haven't read if before city of fallen angels ☺
Jadein Forteau no I haven't! I thought you're supposed to read TID after TMI?
I would love to hear the second half to this video!! I love hearing that other readers also feel this way!
I totally agree on Paper Towns, Dustlands, and City of Ashes!
I love how your personality really showed in this video. Like, I love how into it you were, if that makes sense. lol lovely video, Sasha!
Christina Blackburn aww thank you!
Toootally agree on Paper Towns! I unhauled that book like months ago and I'm so happy I did!
WHY ARE YOU UPLOADING WHEN IT'S 3AM AND I HAVE FINALS TOMORROW AND I SHOULD BE SLEEPING BUT I AM STUDYING BUT THEN YOU UPLOADED SO I HAD TO WATCH AND NOW I'M AWAKE AND NOT EVEN STUDYING WHAT
but the video was totally worth it and i feel you 100% with paper towns!
Totally agree with you on Dragonfly in Amber... it took me ages to get past the first half... glad I wasn't alone!
Haeley Carpenter
I think that City of Ashes was so frustrating for me because I kind of kneeewwww in my heart they wouldn't be (or I was really messed up for shipping it, one of the two) and so I felt like I was just IMPATIENTLY waiting for it to be over so we could get on with it hahaha. That being said, I still loved the book.
Omg I love this please film a part 2!!
So happy to see those red hair again! It's soooo pretty!💖
The Maze runner series frustrates me entirely
BoneStudios15 the kill order frustrated me
Maria Eugenia Rodriguez Noriega I DIDNT EVENT FINISH THAT BOOK AHSJDJD IT MADE ME SO MAD
Maria Eugenia Rodriguez Noriega I didn’t even start the kill order because finishing the death cure was too painful.
Where Rainbows End is one of my favourites and I feel your frustration, but I love how it ended x
*cough* *cough* Allegiant
And Insurgent, at least for me.
LeaTheHatless YEs !!! Insurgent was like one of the worst books I read in 2016. It just drove me nuts when Tris and 4 kept lying to each other and I thought it was so slow and nothing happened...ugh. But divergent was great though!
I agree! I Loved Divergent but Insurgent and Allegiant were so frustrating!
LeaTheHatless sameeeee!!!!!
I love Tobias but his pov annoyed the eff out of me! He literally repeated everything tris said and added something about genes every three sentences, and the ending! No! I loved divergent and insurgent
❤️❤️ your hair is amazing!!
Being from Scotland, I love how obsessed you are with it!!
I can't get into John Green's books, but I loved the message in Paper Towns. It taught me something valuable, and I'll never forget it.
I just reread City of Ashes and OMG! I wanted to scream the whole time! And I know I have to read through all of City of Glass untill they finally know the thruth! AH!
Hello! I'm addicted to your videos, have a nice day😊
This is one of these videos that make me love you so much. I missed these types of videos. Please, continue making those. It was hilarious! Love u!
I had the same feelings towards City of Ashes.. the pAIN!
I feel you on the City of Ashes thing. MADE ME SO MAAAAD. But tbh it was way better executed than I expected, so it made me a little less bitter.
Books without quotations when characters speak would piss me off, too. Talk about instant DNF.
Yay!! My favorite booktuber uploads a video in my birthday!!! 😍☺🎊🎉
a book that i loved but frustrated me so much was Empire of Storms by Sarah J.
Why isn't fifty shades of gray in this video?
I totally agree with you about Paper Towns and Love, Rosie because of that I still haven't watched the movies.
I love that you redyed your hair copper hair back😍
I totally and completely agree with you about dragonfly in amber.... took me forever to get through. I just couldn't get into Paris but I knew I needed to read it in order to get to the other books.
I TOTALLY agree with you for the Paper Towns thing. I personally thought that it was quite dull and I never made it past the halfway point
I don't know why but I was expecting dragonfly in amber to be in this video 😂😂 I remember you having kind of a reading slump over this book
LITERALLY EVERY BOOK YOU NAMED, LIKE EVERY SINGLE ONE FRUSTRATED ME TOOOO FOR EXACTLY THE SAME REASONS 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Paper Towns was the book that got me into reading, i loved everything about it.
Omg Sasha I have been watching your fabulous channel for quite a few months now maybe almost a yea but I just now got a TH-cam account I'm so excited to be joining your amazing world of books
keep on doing what you do sasha!!! i do HATE paper towns
The Heir by Kiera Cass. By FAR the worst book I've ever read.
addictivegamer102 Hahaha. I assume you never read The Crown, then. :)
Lol, true 😂
This video is life 🙌🙌 Second part please!!
saw this video and triggered to the frustration of the ending of kings cage to which I am BEYOND FRUSTRATED
I'm loving your videos!!! glad you're back 😘
Love your channel so much!❤️❤️❤️❤️
I love this girl so much!
I agree so much with Dragonfly in Amber, Love Rosie, City of Ashes!!
Definitely one of the most enjoyable videos!!
I SO agree with you the bro sis thing in City of Ashes. I felt the same :D
i relate so hard to the part about city of ashes. SO MUCH FRUSTRATION
i loved the fault in our stars but i hated paper towns honestly, i suffered through it but it was so frustrating!
I agree with City Of Ashes, that whole situation annoyed me so much, I DNF'ed it the second time I read it, but thank god Jace turns out not to be Jonathan
Empire of Storms. I cried. So much. I had a fill-on breakdown in study hall.
i love this video so much because i can relate to this on so many levels!! hahah. also for the book club/group is it for all ages??
I'm reading City of Ashes right now and your comments are actually my life right now D:
The Selection series was VERY frustrating! But, it's still one of my favorite series!
haha! I love it! Im reading Dragonfly in Amber now, I'm glad its not just me wondering when its going to get past all this.
Omg your hair reminds me of Rose from titanic!! Loved the vid!
I totally agree with you about Dragonfly in Amber.
I enjoyed paper towns because it was the first John Green book I read, it's very true that all of his characters seem very similar
I JUST FOUND UR CHANNEL AND I RELATE TO YOU AND YOURE JUST SO GREAT
I really relate to the City of Ashes! I hated that darn plot twist!! But I also shipped it 😬
Wow! This video was so awesome. You made it so fun
I did not like Paper Towns at first but then I loved it eventually because I can somewhat relate to Margo
I always was but now.........😄😄thank you
I love how frustrated you are in this video 😂😂 Love you! 😘 And totally with you on the City of Ashes 😂
+1million on paper towns, I never understood how it got so popular! AND A MOVIE AS WELL!
This video is AMAZING I WANT MORE
Lol I was frustrated by Love, Rosie too but it kept intrigued at the same time, I needed to know the ending
“When Margo went missing.... BYEEEE” BAHAHAHA
Idk Why your reactions and explanations always make me laugh so much
I went in to TMI knowing that plot twist so it was easier for me to like those characters together, I was kind of glad that was spoiled for me.
Yeah my cousin tried to make me read The Dustlands. I took one look at the pages and I was like - nope no quotations, it will bother me the whole time. 😂
Nienie R I am so sorry for trying to make you read them, they were my first Young Adult Books too.
Cinthia Pratt 😂😂😂😂😂😂 Its okay 👍
I'm actually reading Dragonfly in Amber right now! I love it because of the characters but I do miss Scotland. 😂😭
hahaha I understand your pain/angst when two characters just won't get together!!! So frustrating when it's dragged out too long
hahahaha your CoA reaction is so hilarious and SO relatable! That's one of my favorite books in the series, because I actually really enjoyed the frustrated emotions brought out of me... did that make sense? hahahaha. Yeah CC knows how to pull on emotions XD
i was really frustrated with the Hush Hush series and the Winner's Curse series. (Still love Winners Curse though) HEHE
Wonderful! I mean... just wonderful!
