    As a Minnesota sports fan of 30 years we really haven’t had that true franchise defining guy. Don’t get me wrong we’ve seen some of the most talented Athletes ever come through Minnesota in Randy Moss, Chris Carter, Adrian Peterson, Joe Mauer, KG, Justin Jefferson, KAT, Kaprizov and a few others. But none of them (except maybe KG) were THE guy that defined a dominant era for a team.
    When I say THE guy I’m talking about guys like Brady, Mahomes, Kobe, Jordan, Gretzky, Manning, Duncan, Giannis, Jokic…. Guys that lead their teams to championships.
    Ant could be the first in Minnesota since I’ve been alive.

      I think it's quite possible that we see Naz even crack the starting lineup and we give another player or two the sixth Man option just to rest Towns on occasion.. Minott, Shannon Jr, Miller and Dillingham, we are stacked!! We're not going to be stopped next year!!

    I’m so hyped for this season. I think it’ll take a year for Dillingham to get a feel of the game and he needs to hit the weight room. Shannon can learn a lot from Ant and NAW on the defensive end. This year should be very interesting. My only worry is Rudy in the Olympic play. He was non factor and we all know he doesn’t have a good season after Olympics or FIBA tournaments. Naz will have to step up this year because I don’t see Rudy being consistent

    Good video. Finally someone outside of MN can see how unnecessary the hate is for Gobert and KAT. Only thing I have feedback on is Nickeil being in MN long term. As a Wolves' fan I would absolutely love that to happen, but realistically (like Kyle Anderson) another team will offer him more money than the Wolves can, and to keep him means parting with either Naz Reid or KAT, which they'd be foolish to do.

    Rudy is great. the reason he gets so much criticism is because of his contract and because of how much connelly gave up to get him. If the wolves had drafted him and he was making 10 million a year on his 2nd contract right now they would be prepping a bust for his statue to place outside of target center

    • @michiganlover12
      @michiganlover12 27 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Amen. if he was a $25 mil a year player he would be praised. He’s an all time defender.

      In the big picture they didn't really give up THAT much. They still have a 1st round draft picks every other year. And honestly those draft picks could pan out to be nothing... to bring him in and end up going to a place the wolves haven't been to in 20 years with his help. I'd say the trade was worth it.

    Fair assessment, I think he's a little too sorry about the departures. Anderson, Morris, and rock steady "Little Mac" they'll be missed, like training wheels. Seriously, with all the hot young talent, where were they going to get court time? Dilly, Shannon Jr., and Miller seemed to have chemistry in summer league. Love Naz and Garza. This may be the most potent bench that the Wolves have ever had. The other guys had to go, and most of these young guys are on rookie minimum contracts, that's just good business. Stinks losing JMac... was a good ball handler and a spark plug off the bench, good overall teammate; he'll definitely find a good shot in playing for Sacramento.
    A lot hangs on Jaden's development on the offensive side... saw it during the playoffs where he can go off. KAT and Gobert will be their same old, but with Rob and TJ will be the wild cards on how they develop and fit. Can't forget Naz, Wolves have to keep him. This could be KAT's last year if no Finals appearance, can't lose Naz.
    Mike is the unsung hero... the best thing that happened to this team to have him on board; the front office needs to keep him around after his playing days are over as an assistant... he is going to be crucial for helping Dillingham.
