i do agree with this, but i think that the people working in these farms(most) dont “choose” these jobs im not saying this is wrong, this is animal cruelty and it truly is wrong, but i think that we do still need to provide more ethical jobs for those people i do hope this world will get better

Foxes are beautiful and to see their precious fur and tails stripped away for a jacket and fashionable reasons is heartbreaking I understand that humans in ancient times hunted animals for their fur to keep warm in the cold weather and to cover up cause there was no choice, however in today's advanced world of technology where we do have a choice, people still choose to hurt these foxes and other animals for business and fashion. We are not surviving that we need to kill them, we are living too comfortably enough to leave them alone, yet people still need to take an animal's life for a trivial reason. Unless you are surviving in the wilderness with no home and food shortage, I see no reason to use an animal's fur.

No living being deserves to live like this. Humans can be so cruel and destructive to others. People who wear fur are horrible and greedy. As a fox therian this made me so utterly sad and it's like I could feel their pain. These cruel farms need to stop because it's the most messed up thing I've ever seen. And the way they kill the foxes is horrible too.
One time my dad got me a fox tail as a surprise (he thought I would use it as a keychain.he doesn't support therians(me)) but I had just found out today that my tail is from a Cruel Fur Farm...and I'm devastated, but it is already broken cause of like 50+ kids at my school..😔

If we buy trapped fur, we support the wildlife management. Keep doing that, it is a beautiful way of life. But I wear both trapped and farmed fur. Animals are farmed for meat, too, and fur farming is not worse. If they were mistreated, their fur would have bad quality. From the animal perspective, it is worse than trapping, because they have no freedom. But we couldn’t wear leather and eat meat, if we gave all animals freedom. Good luck in your trapping, man!

I considered fur for so cruel as a teenager but then I have realised if I eat meat and wore leather, there was no reason why not to wear fur. From the animal´s perspective, there is no difference: the animal has to be killed and it has no clue whether it is for meat or for fur. Now I wear several garments of real fur and I appreciate it so much. I respect nature too but I believe humans have right to use natural resources: minerals, wood, plants, animals... Fur is a material that belongs to our fashion traditionally and now I can appreciate how fine material it is. Yes, foxes, minks or other animals have to die, I know that it costs their lives, but who feels sorry for cows or chickens while eating meat? We are predators, we should not feel bad for it.

Its natural to use animals as meat, clothing, and such. HOWEVER, the cruel ways we abuse, and exploit them is wrong. Breeding them, shoving them into filthy unfair conditions, and defying their natural behavior is so unnecessary, especially when we have alternatives available to limit their suffering. The environment is also damaged by animal farming, so I see no reason to continue this horrific and negative industry.

In my opinion, fur belongs to the benefits animals give us. I eat meat, wear a leather bag, leather shoes, leather belt etc, all made from animal skins, so why shouldnt I wear a fur trim, too? Fur farms are not "cruel", they are the same as meat farms. From the animal perspective, there is no difference whether people use its meat or its skin after it has been killed. I know that chinchilla farms were banned in Croatia in 2017., which we ended the cruelty with. If we buy trapped fur, we support the wildlife management. Keep doing that, it is a beautiful way of life. But I wear both trapped and farmed fur. Animals are farmed for meat, too, and fur farming is not worse. If they were mistreated, their fur would have bad quality. From the animal perspective, it is worse than trapping, because they have no freedom. But we couldn’t wear leather and eat meat, if we gave all animals freedom. Good luck in your trapping, man!

They should be letting the foxes roam free in a very very open enviroment where they can live a long and peaceful life before being killed for their fur. Ideally, they would just never be killed, but its a good compromise.

The poor creatures! Not only are they killed for fur, but their entire lives are horrible! They’re abused, neglected, as if they were nothing! No! All living things are precious and important, whether predator or prey, all animals are to be cared for and respected. Coming from someone who is not vegan I say that many people may not understand how i respect nature but still eat meat, I don’t abuse, I don’t neglect or hate, I do the opposite, I make sure all animals are loved and respected just as they deserve to be. Whether you choose to be vegan or not does not affect how much you respect nature, it may confuse other people if you’re like me (A person who eats meat but greatly respects nature) now, before I get people questioning me I guess I should explain why I eat meat.
Do lions feel ashamed or murderous when they eat a zebra? No. It’s because it’s apart of nature for them to eat meat, people were given free will by God, true, but remember we have pointy canines for a reason. I’m not saying vegans should not be vegan i respect and understand their decision, all I’m saying is that I’ve chosen to eat meat based on what I see. Got it? Good.
An interesting reflection. However, I eat meat too and I think if we breed animals for meat, fur farming is all right too. I considered fur for so cruel as a teenager but then I have realised if I eat meat and wore leather, there was no reason why not to wear fur. From the animal´s perspective, there is no difference: the animal has to be killed and it has no clue whether it is for meat or for fur. Now I wear several garments of real fur and I appreciate it so much. I respect nature too but I believe humans have right to use natural resources: minerals, wood, plants, animals... Fur is a material that belongs to our fashion traditionally and now I can appreciate how fine material it is. Yes, foxes, minks or other animals have to die, I know that it costs their lives, but who feels sorry for cows or chickens while eating meat? We are predators, we should not feel bad for it.

I’ll never support fur farming myself, since I’m an old soul I think that it’d be better to hunt for them in the wild. But nowadays we’ve (unfortunately) gone far enough in technology that we don’t need fur anymore, but long ago we had to use animals furs for clothing and such, so I get what you’re saying, but I think that wearing furs nowadays is unnecessary. It shows that you are on a much higher intellectual level than most of the debaters here. I even agree that fur is unnecessary today for most of people. Of course Inuits have to wear seal fur, people in cold parts of Russia or Canada have to wear fur but most people not. It is a issue of fashion only. I own two fur coats but mostly I wear only a fox fur trim because I'm too hot for most of winter in my fur coats. So, I agree with you, I absolutely don´ t wear fur to protect myself against the weather but only for fashion reasons. But still I believe I have right to wear it. We have once right to use animals. I eat meat every day, much more than I would need to survive. I wear a leather jacket and a leather bag, only as fashion statements, I could live happily without them. We kill much more animals than necessary. Fur farming is the same as meat farming. Both cause some stress and discomfort to animals, but it is no torture and we believe that we humans are more important than animals. If we have right to kill a cow for meat and leather that we don´t need necessarily, we have right to kill a fox for fur. Only we customers can decide what we need and what we don´t. All people are equal. If I want to wear fur and my neighbour wants to much meat just for taste (both causing the same amount of discomfort to certain animals), should the neighbor be in the right while me not?
In my opinion, one reason of such a strong opposition against the fur fashion is the fact that animals used for fur are usually very nice, cute. Fox, mink, sable, raccoon..., all are furry, lovely. They evoke much more compassion than chicken, pig or cow. But this is a wrong way of thinking. We should ask only whether the animal suffers or not. I know that beautiful animals have to be „sacrificed“ for each fur garment, but I am happy with that as they create a valuable product, which can serve its wearers for many years.
And yes, I have nothing against hunting or trapping wild animals for fur. Still about 20 % of fur comes from wild animals today. Animals like coyotes, beavers, bobcats are trapped as vermins and their fur is sold on the fur market. This is a very good way. On the other side, foxes or minks will always have better quality of fur if farmed. So, fur farms are needed. And many specific varieties of foxes have been bred, they won´t survive in the wild.
I would like you to think about my words. Try to look at the fur fashion in a new way. Visit a fur shop, view some fur coats, realise that those animals did not die in vain but serve people very well...
