- The Forest Master Manual Splitter (FMMS) is a safe, easy to use, ergonomic alternative to an axe or wedge. It uses a drop weight on a guide pole to impart the force to the axe. No need to swing an axe or mallet which can miss the target and injure the user. The weight is easy to lift and needs just a slight downward thrust, meaning much less strain on your shoulders and back. The FMMS is safe for the whole family to use.
Setting up the FMMS is easy. All you need is a flat woodblock or large log to use as a base. Drill a hole for the support pole using the wood drill provided, place the base washer over the guide pole then place the blade onto the guide pole and it’s ready to go. It can quickly be removed from the base for ease of storage.
To effectively use this tool to split logs, the wood should be seasoned. The impact of the drop weight will effectively split the wood logs with little effort.
The FMMS utilises a metal shielded nylon impact bush to transmit the force from the drop weight to the blade. This has two advantages over the plain nylon bushes used on other drop weight log splitters; the bush does not distort as much on impact, meaning the force is transmitted more efficiently to the blade making splitting easier, and secondly, the bush is less prone to splitting and damage.
The FMMS is an environmentally friendly green way to split logs and provides strain-free wood splitting.

I got one - didn't split fresh hardwood logs with as little as 10" diameter.
And yes, it was put together correctly.
though so
Zawsze mnie bawi gdy pokazują łupanie drzewa bez sęków. Pokaż jak łupiesz grzewo wiązu lub grabu a nie sosny która jesl najłatwiejsza
cool idea but u better build that stronger it will last about 1/3 of a cord and be bent junk except the head and you can make that into a axe
I love that pre-fab wood wall. I would put that on my fireplace wall.
Makes it look like he done some work 😂😂😂😂😂
I'd like to see this thing take on a 12 inch ring of Mesquite.
Clicked for the comments, thats some nice straight grain seasoned firewood you're making shims out of. Guess it be good for makin kindling.
"Make firewood stacks in seconds" tells me a lot about advertising. 😂
è un innovazione non producente a mano solo l accetta da spacco
How is it mounted?
Hi there, thanks for your question! Setting up the FMMS is very simple. You just need a flat, sturdy surface like a woodblock or log. Then, using the included wood drill, create a hole for the guide pole. Place the base washer over the guide pole and attach the blade. That's it! You're ready to start splitting firewood. And when you're done, the FMMS easily detaches for convenient storage.
How is this work?
Hi Mohammed, the Forest Master Manual Splitter is a manual log splitter that uses a drop weight mechanism to split logs quickly and easily.
Here's how it works:
1. Place the log on the base.
2. Raise the drop weight to the desired height.
3. Release the weight and let it fall, splitting the log in half.
That's it! It's really that simple. If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask :)
Any chance to test 1,
12in spilter with a hydraulic petrol engine used in my wood, even that stops when it meets some good knots in the wood.
Please lets see it do some real work.
Bit it requires the same force doing it with a hatchet..
Hi there, thanks for your comment! We understand your concern about the effort required. The strength of the FMMS is its precision. Unlike a traditional hatchet, it allows you to consistently strike the same spot on the log with each swing. This focused impact makes splitting wood significantly easier and less physically demanding. Hope this helps!
kalau mau beli bagaimana caranya
Maybe the guy in the video has most powerful kung fu as he tosses the tool
Junk, dry ass wood too he’s using and loved the 1 foot half round log at 1:25 he try’s making look look a full log. He had to hit 3 times
1:26 We all know bro did not split that pile of firewood with that lump of metal😂
Wouldn't work on Aussie hard wood either lol
Axe 🤚✋
I ting you fine dassa rog spritta.
I don’t think nylon transmits better than iron, it literally dampens both sound and impact. Also dare to bet the hammers weight will not be enough, remember there is no manual low effort way to split firewood it will always take a certain force and not a single lump of iron wil make it significantly easier. This is just a tool for someone who can’t hit in the middle of the logs 😂
Hey there, thanks for your feedback! We appreciate you taking the time to watch our video.
The nylon bushing is a crucial component of the FMMS. It's designed to protect the log splitter from damage caused by direct metal-on-metal impact. Additionally, our bushing is shielded with a steel ring which reinforces the bushing, preventing it from wearing out or exploding from impact.
The hammer weighs 4.3kg and is designed to deliver significant force when striking the log. We hope this helps!
will not work on Canadian firewood. 🤣
😂 Yeah man always the firewood in our region I bet everywhere else in the world it’s easier to split then in my backyard.
