DUSK is a 2018 retro-styled first-person shooter created by American developer David Szymanski and published by New Blood Interactive for Microsoft Windows, macOS, Linux, and Nintendo Switch. The game is produced by Dave Oshry, who previously co-directed the 2013 remake of Rise of the Triad.

Retro games never went away. They are just fashionable currently. Hopefully Oyff will touch on Ion Fury as well.

@doodoo2023 late but sorta? It has zelda mechanics where if you have full health, you can use a charge shot that decimates enemies, and if you have enough armor, you can use it to block.
You don't need ammo for the sword but you do have to pick it up to use it

It's more of a smorgasbord of old school FPS games. A lot of Doom and Quake, but also a bit of Blood and Serious Sam, as well as a hint of Rise of the Triad and Half Life.

It's because Mick Gordon has stopped working with Bethesda for Doom and the music of Dusk is actually very similar to Doom.The composer for Dusk Andrew Hulshult MIGHT be hired.

The fov looks fine, you can change the size of gun models in dusk and I think that’s what he did
