Good video! I'd love to see a "Zero 1UP" Super Mario run - you can't collect more than 99 coins, you can't collect any 1UP mushrooms. Not sure how possible that is, but it'd be fun to try it out.
On the hundred Mario challenge, you should do a cheese challenge on normal and expert. You can only beat a level by finding cheese. If you can't find cheese, you lose 20 lives.
I'd still love to see the super super expert challenge. Two super expert runs in only 100 lives. Complete a run, then take the lives left over into a second run. Also maybe a 10 lives only expert challenge where you get 10 lives but aren't allowed one ups and if you get any, you must kill them off at the start of the next level.
@Damo art can you give an example of what you even mean when you say theme? He has no idea what kind of levels these are until he plays them. I assume he plays like 10 of them and the 3 that aren't horrible trash end up in an episode

you're hard with that last level creator ! Besides a couple of hidden blocks and blind jumps where you could all easily assume where to go, it was just a good ol kaizo platforming level :) nothing to lose your trust in that level
An idea for SMM: World Record Run, do a super expert run, but after beating it, you have to get the world record in each level individually (if you didn't already in the run).

This video's first 2 minutes got me thinking, it would be hilarious to do a 100 lives run and find a map that has so much troll it literally has 100 different trolls to try and kill all your lives in the first stage xD that would break a man.
How about a no checkpoint run? So basically it means play a level but you have to beat it in one go. Checkpoints are allowed but the clear has to be from the beginning all the way to the end in one go!

Kaizo blocks aren't inherently bad. Although they can be annoying, good placement can really add to the difficulty of a level, whilst remaining fair.
