How will you compare the mic quality with earlier Jabra evolve 30. Which one would be better suited to isolate background noise while making office calls ? Confused between these two.
Hi. How do you compare the Evolve2 30 vs the Evolve2 40? On paper, I don't see a lot of difference but maybe the difference is on the build quality? Thanks
The Evolve 2 40 have got three digital MEMS microphones, whereas the Evolve2 30 has only two analog, one MEME and ECM. The speakers are 40 mm instead of 28mm for the Evolve2 30, which should give them a richer sound, especially on the low frequencies. They are also a lot heavier, but at the same time may provide better passive noise cancelling due to the bigger ear cusions (and also more warmth to the ears). Also speaker bandwidth in speak mode is slightly better on the Evolve2 40 with 14000 Hz compared to 12000 Hz on the Evolve2 30. The Evolve2 30 seemed to improve on the annoyingly short USB cable of the Evolve2 40, which is a little longer for the 30.
