    I just discovered your channel. You do awesome work. Am wondering what kind a of carver you are using and where a person could get one. I have a Fordham but find the handpiece heavy and cumbersome for my small girly hand. Thanks for your inspiring videos I hope you keep them coming.

      Other than my shark vacuum, all of my equipment is dental equipment. I own a dental laboratory business. I work in the dental field for my “real” job. Haha.
      I’m not sure where you would get one exactly like mine. But if you have Instagram, the closest I know of is @powercrafter_us.

  • @davidwhiren817

    Please forgive me but I have always been told that antler is another type of hair growth & NOT TO BE CONSIDERED AS BONE !!! YES , BELOW THE CROWN ROSETE IS SKULL BONE , But from the Rosete & above is a form of hair , which is one of the reasons why it stinks so badly when heated up by power tools that cut & sand !!! For those that care & want to avoid stinking up their shops , hand tools will not cause this friction heat reaction to the antler & a great amount of unwanted stink can be avoided inside of an enclosed shop area !!! If speed is a big concern then have at it with the heat producing power tools !!! over heating an area when cutting & or sanding has been known to cause damage such as cracking/splitting & brittle unstable areas on the antler !!! Thank you for this opportunity to comment !!!

    • @bonetats_official
      @bonetats_official  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Absolutely. It depends on the animal. If they naturally shed their antlers, each year, it is considered bone. But other big game, such as sheep, bison, antelope, you are exactly right. It is highly condensed material resembling hair.
