Hey guys, thank you for your continued support on the channel and over at twitch. For those not following me on twitch check me out - @Scottejaye87 over on twtich. I hope you find this video useful looking at the gear for the Might Warrior.....rooooooar!! :D
You should remake a video like this but show what Naxx/AQ40 gear will carry over and how far they will last and what items will replace them and where they are. Would be a great watch to try and plan on where to go if we have Naxx BiS or close too.
If we get to keep our character from classic, my warrior has conqueror set, chromatic boots, gauntlets of annhilation, onslaught girdle etc, wont these still be better than pre-raid bis?
Most of it gets replaced, I’m going to do a brief comparison video of phase 6 bis gear vs pre bis soon so that should answer everything. I might even start on them next week
Great guide buddy, Ill be sticking to this soon enough! Id like the idea about optimizing my pre raid bis, but other guides Ive seen them say basically 'cant be arsed', dont bother with getting the absolute best because youll gear up in karazhan so quickly. Whats your thoughts on this, should I put in the work (gold) to get the blacksmithing stuff, the absolute best items, or will I be switching these out in a couple of karazhan runs?
There is so many good items for each slot that I couldn’t really list them all, just tried to give balanced options between crafted, dungeons and quests etc but you are right, they are good options ofc
I disagree with a few of your pre-raid choices, hands pre-raid bis is Flesh handlers Gloves, the legs should be Shattrath Leggings(these are BIS until T6), you should have had Shapeshifters signet on the list, or at least mentioned it.
Yea they are all solid options mate, I see you definitely like expertise 😁 I would need to look at the level of expertise they give combined when I’m back home (currently away for work). Their weights on an item by item basis will still be lower than those listed You might like this sheet, it’s an edited version of landsouls warrior sheet which I found, this is just one of many sources I was looking at when I made this list. docs.google.com/spreadsheets/u/0/d/11E1k1Di_enrJHOvH992EKBqCoAU7IQPpba6tQJkkQ9M/htmlview#
@@Scottejaye I didnt see where he got his stat weights from on EJ, he linked it but I did not see it in his link. Anyone that uses stat weights, thinks that Expertise rating is less than hit rating, is just plain wrong, especially for fury. It is the exact same, a dodge is the same as a miss for fury, and even if you use overpower, you have a small window to do it and it will probably be a DPS loss anyway with the stance dancing and rage loss or trying to just dump the rage to get an OP in. I distrust anyone that says "get hit cap" then says "ignore expertise" Because it is like saying get hit capped but don't get hit capped. Also personally, I will take a consistent damage that is slightly lower than top damage, than pray to the RNG gods that I do not get too many dodges on important abilities, so that my DPS is slightly higher on one fight, but is much lower on another because RNG caused me to get a couple extra dodges on that fight and my DPS was lower. 1% on the boss?! EXECUTE! Dodge, womp womp, its a wipe.
@@Evirthewarrior boom you are 100% correct and the top dps warriros in game are proof lmao this dude doesnt have a clue how to gar a warrior and admits on previous comments he just jacked someone elses spreadsheet and didnt have a clue why that dude chose what he did or if its even a good set list
@@Evirthewarrior Why are people going for expertise as dps? I dont get it, if you hit mobs from behind you will not have parries and if you get dodges it will enable overpower. It might be good, but ive mainly been going for the hit/crit/ap weighted items. Thought expertise was mostly good for rogue/feral/enha etc.
@@christerknutsen8031 dumping all your rage to go to battle stance to overpower as fury is a huge DPS loss. And that time while you are in battle stance if you melee and go over 10 rage you lose all that rage again when you go back to berserker stance. You could say "just dump your rage in battle", while you are losing out in the 10% AP bonus from berserker stance. It is just a clunky and bad move to stance dance to battle for overpower, when you can just not get dodged as often and do more damage. A bloodthirst in berserker stance is always better than a dodge swap to battle and do a poor 1h overpower.
this is trash you have no choices with expertise which is highly needed you can get that from legs and gloves from 2 quests the gloves are green and the top dps warriors are using them show you how much you know lmao
@@Scottejaye but seriously do some more research I watch vids like this when I’m bored questing and like to find good ones to share with new guild mates or rando’s I see that arnt playing correctly or stats are all wrong instead of explaining it I like to send em to a good source so they can see or understand better
Also warriors are doing more dps than people thought I said this forever lol but people still think private servers had stat weights right when they didnt I pointed to many blue posts from mid 2000’s proving how wrong al these guides are

GJ man, great guide!
Cheers mate 🙏🙏
Would you be able to do a vid on naxx gear vs pre raid BIS
I have done them all for druid, they are on the list for other classes and will defo be coming
The clefthoof leggings are pre raid bis pretty sure because the hit and exp.
yep and the green gloves but this dude has no clue lmao he didnt have one choice with expertise on it

what is better to choose an orc? blacksmith axes (due to expertise) or all the same a weapon with an attack speed (dragon strike)?
I keep being told the mace is better because of the stun.
@@meta1152 for pvp yes .. but as arms pve always sword , since 5% for an extra attack is massiv
Engineering goggles wasn't added until the Black Temple patch, so they are most likely not gonna be available upon release
Watch my latest video, they are more or less confirmed at launch mate
@@Scottejaye Yeah, I just saw. Thank you.
They are not in phase 1

What about cloak of darkness, the LW craftable cloak with crit and str? And the epic plate leggings from mechanar heroic?

No 2 hand weapons ?
warlords or t3 gear seems still viable
