I work in Qatar,and honestly,this country is so modernised ,qataris live so well with nice hospitals around them,schools,and anything they would like... I'm so jealousy our African leaders are letting us down even with all the resources that we have....

Just wanted to let y’all know, I lived more than a quarter of my life in qatar as a student and a resident of qatar, and when I came to for my higher education career ( uni) to malaysia that’s when I actually felt soo bad to get away from qatar as I didn’t receive even a bit of what I received in qatar, okay let’s not exaggerate but like by far qatar the quality of life is far better than the European countries around the world or the so called advanced country. It’s just amazing the facilities a resident can gain there is just insane. And love for 🇶🇦 will be embedded in my heart forever and wherever I go around the world, end of the day I wanna just settle down there

Funny thing is that when I was at a University in North Wales, UK. There were dozens of students from Qatar. So it is not how the place looks like that matter. It's the quality of education.

The quality is good it’s just too expensive studying abroad is less expensive than studying in the country. Other than that, a lot of Qatari students have the privilege of being able to study abroad for free and get a salary as well with sponsors, if u got that chance u probably would take it as well.

And that's why I spend my savings on tech(I don't waste time on my pc all the time, I can do graphic designing and editing) and 😘art supplies(recently bought an art tablet) working on a project.

Looks great but the tuition fees are probably eye-watering. Mine was just over £9000 per year tuition in the UK, not including living costs and I thought that was bad but Qatar is likely way more. Also, what's the education like? Career prospects? Yes, the facilities look fantastic but ultimately you want something that will get you a good job.

The quality of education in middle Eastern countries is bad. Definitely pursue education in a Western country. Kids from the qatar, uae and kuwait even come to Pakistan to study. You'll have a better perception all around the world if you study in New Zealand, plus the virus situation there is under control. i live in Qatar and experience are very subjective, my two sisters are in an university in Qatar and they love it, plus Qatar is perfect for students who want to focus on there studies.

If you don't believe me, you can check the ranking of countries by their publications in scientific journals. Heck even Pakistan has a better scientific ranking than middle Eastern countries which is majorly due to our contributions to nuclear science. If you want more evidence, go to your local market and enlist education consultants who send students to middle East to study, you will find small to none because little demand.

A year late but someone above you asked these questions Lived there for 5 years, it was pretty nice. I grew up in Malaysia for 13 years. To walk hand in hand? Lots of people do that To have a cold beer in a pub with friends? My American and Canadian teachers were able to drink alcohol to somewhere they went together To kiss your gf/bf in a public place? On the cheek or forehead, sure. Not lips. To wear for example a cargo short? Men and women have to wear pants that cover their knees. Men shouldn't be shirtless in beaches with many people but there are sides of the beaches where you can be alone with you friends What about freedom? Pretty nice. You can leave your phone or laptop anywhere at the mall or school and it won't get stolen. Only heard 1 police siren in my 5 years there. Qatar is the safest country in the world currently. So have you visited or lived there before? Can women drive there? Yup :)

Qatar University is a very good price. Only 800 riyals per month for accommodation. Food and transport included. But yeah the rest are SUPER expensive
