I'm huge cat fan from earliest age I can remember. I think ronnie lions was my first player I liked.
Years later, in Louisville, we had are end of season awards ceremony. It was best one ever. They had rick there handing out trophies. I was startled. I couldn't believe it. And he was huge. I think the next year, they had 500 more kids than previously. Robey made a lot of kids year.
It was great to see a player take time to do that.

Rick was a tough player rebounder passer , good jump hook. runner screener and bird friend . Later Celtic. I lived in kentucky during that time and watched that great team.

Kyle obviously know more than I but I could have sworn being a student at the time that Robey and company had to play one year of Freshman basketball prior to playing on the team. Yet, Kyle talks repeatedly about Robey's Freshman year ON the team.
    Is my memory in error?

The seniors of 1975 were the last class that were ineligible to play on the Varsity as Freshmen
